@Christian Believer That is quite an opening post! Welcome to the forum!

Black and white, huh? "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded." James 4:8 Let us kill then that old man, that beast, who leads us to sin. Not even that killing is allowed? "Wisdom hath builded her house, she...

What a person believes and knows is dependent on the roads they have been traveling and for how they have been traveling toward God. I believe that before meeting the Master, people had a glimmer to attract them, but that glimmer was only a hope: "That was the true Light, which lighteth every...

Born Again. What is it and why is it necessary? First, why we need to attain it: "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3 Here is explained what it is: "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the...

The Catholics may not understand, but neither do most of the Protestants engaged in quite similar communion rites.

The Father initially draws a man to Jesus. Once we are drawn, we then follow him by faith. Remember that faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence not seen. As our vision improves, and it must... if ever we are to see Him face to face, we must be overcoming. Yes, we must...

Look back at the natural children of Jacob/Israel in the wilderness. In and out of the enclosure they went with their prescribed offerings each time they broke... and realized that they had broken... the law God had given through Moses. That is what those people were doing and as we know... most...

@MatthewG If everyone came with only God's Truth and was receiving only God's Truth there would, indeed, be no problem. The problems among believers arise mostly likely because of mixed messages being taught and preached. Often, we may need to listen to the other guy with his at least part...

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;.." Heb 12:2 When and how did Jesus, author our faith? When and how has he or will he finish our faith?

Is anyone here ever led or directed by God?

@Naomanos Also praying for both of you!

"I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts." Ecc. 3:18 But then consider this: "Wisdom... She hath killed her beasts..." Prov. 9:1-2

We have to consider them because God put them in places as well... but being dead [anyone who has not received and accepted the Life Jesus brought] they also are not owners, even though they might disagree with me. Give God the glory!

Praying for our dear brother @amigo de christo now!

Amen! And nothing good belongs to Caesar nor to any of us. It all belongs to God. What kind of stewards are we now? Are any human government officials more than stewards according to God?

@MatthewG "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them" Rom 16:17

A positive note on Mark Twain, perhaps.

Thank you, sister. I really try to simply go through each day carefully with Him. There are plenty of other things to keep me busy in the Lord without wasting time on worries like this as if it would do me or anyone any good. We serve a God who really is able in every situation. Leaving it...

Praying that God supply all that you need!

I am praying for him now, sister!
