There a whole lot of pew sitters, who merely fill up space for a short period of time and as soon as possible hurry to do what they want to do. An hour or less out 168 in the week? Perhaps some do the same thing with the bodies and time allotted to them. It all belongs to God, the bodies and the...

Even so...

@Episkopos Yes, there are people, who try to lead without the Spirit of God leading them at the one extreme, while at the other end are people leading who are both in the Spirit and led by the Spirit in their calling from God. It may appear as absolute chaos for unbelievers not attracted in...

Could you provide scriptures supporting such a requirement for knowledge? Are you not favoring using what has been eaten from the forbidden tree here? This is knowing without really knowing. We are to live by faith [Heb 11:1] because while we may know that both good and evil exist [Gen 3:22], we...

I believe that for the most part they did not understand what he meant. They misunderstood and Jesus purposely as when speaking in parables did not explain, seeing then, who would stay with him anyway. Peter answered with the following words, and I presume that some others including the ones...

And perhaps most of it is... the truth that is. I will mention that I do not consume bread from grain or wine from naturally grown grapes at all. I stopped that many years ago. I consume daily the Word of the God, that is, the flesh [Bread as in the written Bible] quickened [brought to Life]...

There are as I see it in the scripture two kinds of angels mentioned in the scriptures. There are heavenly angels, and there are earthly angels, all being messengers sent by God. Gabriel would be an example of a heavenly angel whereas John the Baptist and Paul the Apostle would be earthly or...

"But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal." I Cor 12:7 "To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds [different kinds] of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:" I Cor 12:10...

Perhaps you then in agreement with me? So then, do the ayes have it, or should it be eyes?

This was addressed to Theefaith, but my point was simply the red blood of men versus the blood, which we are to drink as per John 6:53. The red blood of the man Jesus was shed completely on Calvary so that man was dead. Without blood there is no life. But then consider the other Blood of men was...

Hi, Barney, Do the following verses relate to your subject? "My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her." Song of Solomon 6:9...

"A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." Prov. 18:24

And also found in the Code of Hammurabi of the ancient Kingdom/Empire of Babylon, the same place where many people from ancient Judah [southern part of ancient Israel]were carried away as slaves.

What is the blood of Jesus? How is the blood of Christ different than the blood of human beings?

Do you suppose they could be replacing any dying assemblies/churches today? Are two or three always or even ever gathered together there in those parlors IN his name? [See Matt 18:20]

Really? I do believe you are wrong. The need remains until that which is perfect [complete] is come! It is not an unopened, unread, unquickened Bible! When we stop needing tongues will we not also stop needing knowledge? "Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail...

@dominic Welcome to the forum! May God richly bless you here.

You are correct my friend that there is a time for each of us to die. Sometimes God has it in mind to keep us here a while longer and the healing done is for His glory and His purpose. But... when, on the other hand, it is His designated time for our end here, then may God grant that it be so...

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27 So, then you quoted a verse giving reason why He might not grant our request. Indeed, He might not, but if we are always in His Spirit and always following the lead...

@Jabre Praying that God will lead you now assisting you in moving closer to Him always!
