I stand by what I wrote in post #49 Making your scripture quotes big and bold , does not magically make them mean what "you" claim them to mean!! We disagree.

Yep...I know all those... nowhere does it mention "flying away".....Been there done that. Been at this 54 years now ... I've done all the deep studies, checked out all the words. Nice try...thanks. Bless you...Helen

Me too...I love that avatar she uses. :)

Ah, and there you have it...the " scripture" so called 'proof' is weak. The doctrine was started by someone having a vision...in no time it became a doctrine. But it is a waste of breath arguing the point. "Each man must be persuaded in his own mind" I'd rather not believe it (which I...

Nice to see you again David. You have been missed. :) Hope that you stay a while!

and.....More ? I mean from you! Since the creation of mankind God made man for union (Bridehood) "He walked and talked in the garden with Adam in the cool of the evening" So I believe it is much more the the sin issue.

I just got finished on reading your post on the other (of many) rapture threads going. :D And, I was thinking to myself...why so MANY rapture threads...!! They are all stupid. Those that believe in it will never change their position. And those who do not...have probably come out of the...

Thanks @Willie T ...

Well at least it is one of those new doctrines which don't matter at all. Some chose to believe they will be zapped out of trouble. Others believe that we are called in His service and have been supplied armour for the last fight. Many will be disappointed and taken off guard when the...

"believers-stay-righteous-by-practicing-righteousness." That is a load of rubbish. If that were the case then it would be "our" righteous...which it isn't...the only righteousness we have is Christ's righteous, not ours....wed have no righteousness of ourselves.

I Googled it..I could find nothing definite. I found one who said what you said about them..and I found one which said that he had mentioned his grandchildren once, so if he has grandchildren he must have had children. But it was all very vague indeed.

Sad story Glenn. But , I agree it is getting really bad , here too in Canada. Half the doctors we see for appointments speak such bad English we can't understand them, they they obviously don't understand us. I am a conspiracy theorist , so I do not believe this is any mistake by the health...

Do your history...that which you quote is modern history...it goes much further back than that! When Bagdad finally fell in 2003 one of the things they found was a smaller version exactly like the statue of liberty. If I remember rightly they found others too in old Babylon 93 kl or so from...

Seeing you on here has made my day. I have missed you very much. Happy to see you once again. :) Bless you...Helen

That is all it is, a copy of...it goes back thousands of years ...read Brakelite's link. It is a 'copy of' The Babylonian goddess Ishtar.

Amen. Very true....I did learn that much about 40 years ago!

Just being picky here. :) She was not a daughter of a king...she was a farmers daughter. A peasant. She came to fame when in 1415, King Henry V of England invaded northern France. And she felt called of the Lord to rise up and defeat him etc etc.. Just saying.. :D

Here we go again...this thread is a re-hash. We've been here and done this ....before.... None of the responses will be any different this time around either.
