Should the meaning of Greek words affect the interpretation of the passages they are found in?

I am afraid, that is how you come across in your lectures.

You are totally selective at your spiritualizing. You literalize what is spiritual and spiritualize what is literal. Talk about convulted hermeneutics.

Our spirits have been redeemed, but our bodies are not redeemed until the second coming. The bondage of corruption - all the result of the Fall - is not lifted till Jesus comes to glorified His elect and all creation. So, you are going to have to qualify what you say.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

... and childishness. You translate anyone who expose Mystery Babylon as wrong. That goes with the territory. Romanism is corrupt from top to bottom.

Is the "thousand years" in Rev 20 a literal 1000 years?

Should the meaning of Greek words affect the interpretation of the passages they are found in?

No, it has not. That is utter folly. Is your body decaying? Have you any wrinkles that you didn't have when you were young? Is your hair failing out? Are you going to physically die? Is creation still groaning and travailing up until we are glorified? You know what you are saying is simply not...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

You have nothing of evidential worth to bring to the table outside of insults, bitterness and avoidance.

LOL. Why are people still sinning and dying then? Why are flowers, trees and giraffes still dying?

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

There is no one as blind as one who cannot see. Try describing color to a blind man from birth. He has no concept of it.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

You keep making these statements (personal opinion) that are the foundation of your argument without providing biblical quotes to support them. Why would any of us accept these then? We need hard explicit Scripture, and it is simply not there. What is more, where does it say Satan will not...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

I addressed this subject of the mystery of God in detail above (#8,080 and 8,081) but you failed to address it.

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Where else in Scripture does it teach that "the Kingdom of God is complete" or "the fullness of the kingdom of God" occurs "after the thousand years expires" and before Satan's little season? Revelation 20 doesn't even say that. That is something you force upon Revelation 20 to justify your own...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

The points I made stand because your response does not even come close to addressing the many contradictions in your position. You have to reject the all-consummating nature of the 7th trumpet detail. It is clearly the end of time, the mystery of God and this imperfect state. It is the time of...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

I am going to repost this. But where is Satan's little season in the picture with any of these other texts? Nowhere! You force that into the equation where it is not mentioned. It is not in Revelation 10 or 11. You place it there where it does not belong. Read these other passages and let them...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

I addressed this subject of the mystery of God in detail above (#8,080 and 8,081) but you failed to address it. That occurs at the second coming according to repeated Scripture, not before Satan's little season. And, no, you have not given supporting Scripture. You have not even given a...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

This is simply not true. Amils typically build their beliefs on explicit statements and support it with other Scripture. You do neither here. You come up with an opinion and then force it upon the text. This is not how it works.

Should the meaning of Greek words affect the interpretation of the passages they are found in?

You choose one reality (the melting of the elements) and only want to talk about it. You divorce that from the other aspects of the solar system mentioned that will be regenerated when Jesus comes (namely the earth, the works therein and the heavens - or the other planets). This is actually...
