This reminds me of the young man who asked what must I do to be saved, and Jesus says keep the commandments. The young man says he does them all, and Jesus says he still lacked one thing. Now Jesus mentions a couple things here. 1. Sell all you have 2. give to the poor 3. take up your cross and...

And children are the inheritance of the Lord. Exo 15:17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established. Oh look another Sabbath Day...

I think it's refered to as the guf? I have to check it out. Guf Guf is a Hebrew word, meaning "body". In Jewish mysticism the Chamber of Guf, also called the Otzar, is the Treasury of Souls, located in the Seventh Heaven. Wikipedia Is the concept of the guff biblical? What is the guff? The...

So maybe God don't want us to build another tower of Babel so he confuses people's interpretations (tongues) from doing so? All I know is that's there's a whole lot a babbling going on today that makes no sense at all :) Hugs

Gen 24:1 And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. Gen 24:2 And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: Gen 24:3 And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the...

Jer 7:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh. Jer 7:22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: Jer 7:23 But...

I found this interesting concerning the King of Assyria: https://www.gotquestions.org/Assyria-in-the-Bible.html And Tophet is an interesting word: Tophet or Topheth = "place of fire" Isa 30:31 For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod. Isa...

What a long day. I think I pee'd off every nurse and therapist and technician I could get my hands on at the hospital today. The system is broken. There is nothing more frustrating than me having to remind them how to do their jobs. Babylon is fallen. MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. The industry...

It's name is Barack Hussein Obama. Because if Biden goes down doing things as VP, that means Obama fully knew what Biden was doing and had his authority to do it. You have no authority, your not the President... The President said, I said call him, I told you your not getting the billion...

I think the biggest temptation Jesus had was not to allow himself to take the opportunity to be King of Israel or the world at that time. That was the last temptation that the devil set before him in the wilderness. All these kindoms will I give unto thee if thou will bow down to worship me...

Where there's smoke there's fire and things are getting pretty hot here now, in my opinion. It starts small like taking God out of the schools, Which in my opinion should begin in the cradle and at the dinner table. And today there is a famine going on and the kids are hungry. So hungry they...

I wouldn't want to be an olive. It could get quite pressing. persecution for their faith.. like flies in the ointment. Exo 8:21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the...

I see Noah preparing the Ark in the days of the flood, and being caught up between the earth and the heavens where God set him until the flood was passed. There's a lot of catching up in the bible. Philip was caught up, the woman in revelation was caught up and taken into the wilderness, Jesus...

You mean like grapes or olives? One produces the fruit of the vine and the other provides oil for the lamps. So there some interesting verses regarding the "press" Pressing into the kingdom: Mar 2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he...

I believe people are influenced by bad thoughts. Jesus calls them tares that the enemy plants in our hearts and minds when we're not being vigilant and keeping our eyes on him. And as you say, we are our own worst enemy and I agree with that. But where did those original bad thoughts come from...
