I had a rose bush in Florida and it was always in bloom. No winter there. And I would go out every 6 months or so and clip a little here and a little there. Because if you clip too much you could shock the plant and it could die. That's why I believe God's grace is the necessary ingredient to...

The bible says we shouldn't judge others lest we ourselves be judged. And Paul says that judgment first begins with us, meaning the church. So,I judge because I know I am being judged. Not for sin but for character. And it's not a judgment to condemnation, but rather a judgment of the fruit they...

I find that the bible is a tool to measure the stature of a person according to God's measure. How does one measure up if they don't have a standard to go by? And I don't believe the bible is supposed to be used to measure other people's standards, but rather our own. It is the mirror we look in...

The other thing I found intereting is the place where Jacob wrestled the angel. Gen 32:22 And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok. Gen 32:23 And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over...

The thing is with man's limited knowledge of what we can know outside of time and space is inferior to God's unlimited knowledge. Man can't know what he doesn't know. Or man can't know what he hasn't been given to know. So we can sit here all day discussing what man knows according to what...

This made me think of Jacob when he was wrestling with the angel and the angel grabbed Jacob by the sinew of his thigh. Gen 32:32 Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's...

Contemplating. :D Hugs

Oh no, I was just rambling off thoughts brother. Sorry if it came over that way. Just me rambling :D Hugs

I keep hearing the Preacher.. A time for this and a time for that. And there is no new thing under the sun. And the process of time is throughout the bible. In the process of time... And an appointed time... God has his own calendar whether the world goes by it or not. Does anybody really...

Courtesy is a good work when we share it with others, even if we agree to disagree. 1Co 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. Many...

You ever notice the sign of infinity is a closed circuit? There is no beginning and no end, it just is infinate in motion. The snake on the other hand has a head and a tail. It is not infinate but has a beginning and an ending. Just thinking.. Hugs

Deu 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. All one needs to do is "listen" and then "do" what he tells you. Mat 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear what...

Names are an interesting study though, even if it seems boring, all those begats and all. But if you take the names and their hebrew meanings I believe from Adam to Noah in chronological order, their names reveal the gospel for mankind. Hebrew English Adam Man Seth Appointed Enosh...

I listen while I work lol. This is my life. When dad is home with me, from the time I rise to the time I sleep, he needs everything done for him. He has arthritis throughout his body so he can't walk hardly, or bathe himself or even feed himself sometimes. So my world in the flesh is one of...

I'm not a wealthy person. Most times I barely make it to the end of the month before I get my disability check from the government. I worked hard for a lot of years, paid my taxes, did my time. Then my body got broken and I live on a whopping $600 a month. I don't go to a building they call...

Because Mary was listening and Martha was working. Neither really got rebuked as much as Jesus told Martha that what Mary was doing was the better of the two. You can work all day, doesn't mean you will get it right if you don't follow the directions. Hugs

I don't know about Christian mysticism. I just say it as I hear it. Jhn 12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them. Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in...

You could say the Sabbath points to the creator of creation, that would be Jesus whom God had begotten as his only son. That was the last day God created all that was created in both heaven and earth. There is no evening and morning in the seventh day. There is no Night, even though there is...

I'm a little late getting ready to go today. When I woke up this morning (I actually slept last night lol) It looked real cold but not icy. I'm just giving the sun a chance to warm the roads a bit. I believe it will be fine. Thankyou for your prayers.. everyone. Hugs

They moved dad to rehab last night. I will be going over shortly to see how everything is set up. So I'll try to make this short. God created the earth for man to have dominion over. Everything in the world that had life in it, God had Adam name for himself. God gave man an help meet for him...
