And that reminds me of this: "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as...

You know that you need to stop that, don't you? My mouth is watering overtime!

Amen! Probably my worst pastor was one of the most helpful in leading me to understanding the Way in my very early walk with God.

It most certainly was. God was working with me in many ways unbeknownst to me long before I really knew Him at all. Today, those many testimonies are in my heart and mind to be shared when I am so led by the Holy Spirit. What a mighty God we serve!

All of the parts are, you and me and @Wynona ,important in God's work. Those parts that were to be included in the written text of Scripture no more so than those who given functions elsewhere as part of the Body of Christ. Is it all in the Book? "And there are also many other things which...

His holy church? That is the people forming His Body and separated [holy] from the world and its ways. One? When every Body part is perfectly formed by the work of the Holy Ghost to provide a place for the Head to rest! "For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of...

Seeing the movie Peter Pan the first time I was encouraged in my desire to never grow up. It actually took years for me to really get away from that dream. I really did not begin to see Reality until sometime after I had received the baptism of the Holy Ghost [age 32]!

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." Matt 7:7-8 "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall...

To men perhaps but never to God. To God is it not simply a part of our reasonable service? The radical thing would be that men so seldom find those reasonable things as the only Way! And so then, "Jesus wept" [John 11:35] "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship...

Immersed in the Holy Ghost is where we need to be at all times... Who is there now? Bits and pieces my friend but have you missed or overlooked that God is the consuming fire? Without Him what would burn up the chaff while leaving the wheat? How that Fire affects people is most easily seen by...

I always did dance when it was played so many years ago. [Both my legs and my lungs fail me these days to put my all into it.] I wish I could easily find some of those very early renditions. Probably on the Internet, but I cannot remember the names of the singers/dancers to search. Several more...

Baptism: bavptisma Baptisma (bap'-tis-mah); Word Origin: Greek, Noun Neuter, Strong #: 908 immersion, submersion Why would you, or anyone, presume so certainly that water [H2O] must be involved? Is immersion in water the most important thing? Consider the words of John the Baptist: "I...

Some of your words are quite good as I see it. I will not stand hard here against any differences. They are in God's hands as we are in God's hands... if we want to be. Anyone truly seeking God will receive all that he really needs. Who but God knows all that is needed? May God richly bless...

And then...

Keep walking onward, sister, one step at the time as He leads you!

Amen... that He has! "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Rom 8:28 That is most certainly, "all things"! Give God the glory!

Men had been making a whole lot of rules and/or traditions for themselves for hundreds of years before we were born. God winked and I guess is still winking at a lot of things implemented or twisted by men and perhaps because there more important issues. To move to a better place than where Adam...

Your question indicates to me that you really did not to understand his point [ @Reggie Belafonte ] at all.

Many thanks to all here for reassuring comments and prayers. @Nancy I have not a clue about how I got the eye infection. I am just glad it is clearing up. Now that I have finished using the medicated ointment, just cleaning it every day keeps it from bothering me like it did earlier.

Thanks, but I really did put this question to @theefaith to hopefully get some input from him other than a standard set-in concrete CC answer.
