There's a very simple test in discerning whether spirits, or men, are true or false. Compare with scripture. All of scripture. Not just those texts that seem to agree with ones preconceived opinions, or lying spirits will have a field day with your mind. Compare scripture with scripture. Plead...

You misapply faith alone. Having a correct understanding of what protestants actually mean when they speak of faith alone may help you to appreciate more the truth of the gospel... Grace and mercy and redemption through the blood of Christ to be obtained through faith, the righteousness of...

It's interesting that the smoke and dust from the volcanic eruption in Tonga has circled the planet twice as of last week.

Samuel was dead. His body turning to dust. With what was this Samuel now using to talk?

I'm curious how a post without any reference to a scripture whatsoever qualifies as "Bible study"?

Well, I'm very glad to hear that. So you don't steal anymore? Or covet right? Are you therefore obeying those Commandments in order to be saved Robert?

Dead people can't speak, or hear. They're dead. Waiting the resurrection. Then they will have a body, and be able to hear, and speak. But over and above all that... Why? Why the need to ask someone in heaven to ask God for something on your behalf? Aren't the living able to do that? Or aren't...

And Texas, and Tennessee, and Arkansas, and Mississippi, and....

I appreciate all that you've said, and understand, although imperfectly. I'm looking from about 10,000 miles away. Okay, I guessed and checked. 9803 miles. I'll take that lol. Anyway. I get that the constitution and bill of rights is viewed as a protection against government overreach...

So Lazarus has a finger? Where did he get that from? The rich man has a tongue? A voice? Abraham in glory can see people suffering in hell? I'm sure that's fun. As for those others, they weren't dead. They were either resurrected, or in Elijah's case, translated, but all very much alive. Not...

Accidentally or purposeful, it is highly significant that those two concepts of government, American republicanism and global tyranny should be lumped together in one space. It is worrying that Americans cannot see their own Christian ministers and pastors leading them into tyranny.

It's called projection.

God warned and warned Israel that their apostasy would not go unpunished. Yet they murdered those sent to them. Why cannot Catholics perceive that the same God will deal with Rome according to her deeds as He did with Israel? What makes Rome impervious to judgement, particularly when she is...

You do realize that I covered just two aspects of one verse right? And even then, not to the depth that could be mined. Revelation. 13 is an entire chapter, all of it supporting those two aspects...a global spiritual entity that began immediately after the fall of pagan Rome, and continues to...

Mmm. God forbid that a gun permit be withheld from an insane psychopath with a penchant for wife abuse.

Thank you. The first issue I have is your understanding of the term beast. KJV Revelation 13:1 1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. I believe...

Thank you for explaining what you believe Revelation 13 depicts. I see a few slight difference to the way I see it, and one very big difference that changes the entire picture. May I show you my understanding?

Of course one is above the other. In order to have ecclesiastical authority which you claim is the Hallmark of catholicism, a hierarchal order is imperative. Doctrines not found in scripture are the proof of this. Tradition became entrenched, the magisterium then made the tradition official...

America was founded by people escaping from persecution in Europe and wanting the freedom to worship according to their conscience. Jefferson, Madison et al were experimenting on something never before attempted in human history. A nation without a king and a religion without a pope. Yet they...

I interpreted it??? I simply pointed out a common practise between catholicism in having a king over them to tell them what is truth, and ancient Israel who did the same... Both with similar results.
