As someone who is not a parent. And who was never heavily burden to go to church, to dress a certain way, or to act a certain way. I don’t think it’s wrong to teach a child about God who is about the total freedom to choose and he love’s unconditionally. And to bring up a child in wisdom at...

Hello rocky, That is a view. I simply see the people in those churches stated in revelation all lived in Asia Minor and were very real people being given warnings from Christ Jesus and that his return would be soon, quickly. They no longer exist, and they generation of people are now no...

For some I don’t think it matters. It just ultimately depends on the person if they are seeking for truth or not from just what people say from a pulpit and read and study the Bible for themselves. As mre said people can be drenched in the traditional teachings of what man says rather than...

That’s evangelical stand point, @Matthias . But once you have faith in Jesus along with the death, burial and resurrection. That is not all there is to the walk of faith. There is growing in Christ to go on too; growing from being a babe to a son or daughter of God.

It’s up to the decision of you.

right on @Ezra

I’m glad I wasn’t really raised learning Christian traditions. My mom allowed me to live life as I chose fit for myself which caused her grief sometimes. Luckily she was a wise person even so by the spirit of Christ in here. I would allow my children the same privilege. I never had a dad...

Case closed. The only thing I can say is that king James is worded in a way that is very cool; but it’s not a word perfect translation. And I like that; other than that you can use any version of the Bible you want to, in my opinion that goes for the new living translation. Thanks dickens.

Because Jesus was going to hell with him. Jesus ended up in paradise and went to teach the spirits in prison. Hell/Sheol is where everyone that died went to. Because it has yet to be done away with - which happens in revelation, and the place called hell is done with and over today.

I believe the same thing, The only thing I do not believe is the people who made the choice not to seek after God in faith will not end up in the Heavenly Jerusalem. (they will be outside the city gates according to Revelation 22) Thus it gets rid of eternal punishment - Age-during punishment...

Hello @Adventageous, Thank you for sharing what you have here, everyone has to choose for themselves what they will believe. I believe that Nero was the Anti-Christ, but if others do not - It is not for me to wack them on the head and make demands they believe me. Also believing that Jesus had...
