Glad to hear that bro. Dont want that van of yours steaming up too much, could create a condemnation... Sorry... Condensation issue.

How do you know the single life is God's plan? As Paul said, better to marry than burn.

I agree with the theme of your post, that we need to get back to our roots, but disagree with you on what those roots are. The Gentile believers did verily join with the Jews in the synagogues, as testified by the apostles. However, you are correct that in due course of time, and for several...

The apostle to the Gentiles, after founding Syrian Christianity, was called to plant the gospel among the Galatians, in the heart of the large Celtic branch of the human family. The Celts of Galatia were of the same family, and spoke the same language as the Irish, Scotch, British, Welsh, and...

The whole scenario is illogical. The entire scriptures declare that the law is holy, just, and good. That the only ones who need to fear it are those who transgress it. And the only ones who have anything at all to gain by it's abrogation in this immediate existence, are those who are unwilling...

What does God has to say regarding what boils down to religious freedom and freedom of conscience. KJV Daniel 7:23-26 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down...

So what though? The law didn't make the 7th day holy. It's a holy day regardless of the law. Regardless of who God gave the law to. Regardless whether the Catholic Church abused, denigrated, ridiculed and burdened that day and murdered all Sabbath keepers, the 7th day is still, and always will...

So only Israelites committed murder and adultery?

Sunday sacredness.

In regards to only meat on Friday, or in general? It's just that I distinctly remember being taught as a child that there are venal and mortal sins. I also still distinctly remember the fish and chip take away shops always did a roaring trade on Fridays... They were full of Catholics. Fish, for...

Unless of course the false doctrine (according to scripture) is taught by tradition... Then (at least within catholicism) it become acceptable.

Seems to me that this is another in the long line of long winded excuses for Christians to believe that salvation is unconditional... That obedience is nothing but an optional extra.

See??

So the story goes... I am not perfect... Neither will I ever be perfect... Sin is missing the mark of perfection... Therefore I sin... And I cannot help but sin for the rest of my life because I will never be perfect... Therefore I can and do fully justify my sin...

So they supercede that which were written on stone? Because He said so.... KJV Genesis 2:3 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. The fact that in Exodus 16 God said....3 months prior to Sinai... KJV...

Please remember who brought the Sabbath into this... But in regards your comment... Is that true? That Sabbath keepers keep the Sabbath only because the law says so? While I would agree that the written law confirms or affirms the observance of the Sabbath, you need to remember that the 7th day...

Did you know that the Catholic Church once used the seventh-day Sabbath as grounds to reject the whole of Protestantism? And Martin Luther himself couldn't withstand the argument? The Archbishop of Reggio, Gaspard del Fosso, confronted the Reformers on their premise of "Sola Scriptura", or the...

Yes. Everyone likes to quote the ECFs. And yet none find it strange that the word of God says nothing on the subject.
