Romans 10:9 - if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 1 Corinthians 12:3 - Therefore I make...

Misinterpretatuon many times is a result of flawed hermeneutics and isolating a pet verse and reading it out of context.

You just described those who teach works salvation. They will isolate a handful of pet verses, build doctrine on them and try to force the rest of Scripture to "conform" to their biased interpretation of those pet verses.

It's simply about harmonizing scripture with scripture in order to reach the proper conclusion on doctrine.

More troll behavior. Let me know when you are ready to grow up and have a meaningful conversation.

Absolute nonsense. You appear to be incorrigible. Sigh..

It was in context and in harmony with the scriptures I cited.

You just don't get it.

For starters see posts #98 and #99.

That's your eisegesis. Show us where Paul said "lose salvation."

I already have multiple times.

You simply misinterpreted Romans 2:6-16 because you teach works salvation. Perverting the gospel is neither walking by faith or abiding in Christ. You call Christians on this board names, including liar, which is not an example of loving one another either.

I properly harmonize scripture with scripture before reaching my conclusion on doctrine. I believe all of it. You isolate pet verses and interpret them through the lens of your biased, preconceived beliefs then try to force the rest of scripture to conform to your biased, preconceived beliefs...

Actually, I love Biblical truth. What you teach is neither Biblical truth or logic and your continued slanderous remarks expose your true colors.

1 Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Root cause of their confusion.

You remain under the delusion that "repay each person according to his deeds" means each person will receive eternal life based on the merits of his good deeds and earn eternal life. Elsewhere in scripture, the apostle Paul said: Romans 4:4 - Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as...

It's common for works-salvationists to confuse 'descriptive' passages of scripture with 'prescriptive' passages of scripture. In John 5:28-29, *notice that ALL who come forth unto the resurrection of life (believers - vs. 24) are described as those who have done good and ALL that come forth unto...

I'm not unknowingly saying what you are falsely accusing me of saying so it's slander on your part.
