The real culprit giving the Catholic Church such a bad rap is the news media.....anything that happens in the Catholic Church is "headline news" and people who watch these programs just regurgitate what the media spills out. I personally would have not known of anything happening in the Church...

Not sure if my response is what you are referring to? I am debating the claim that the Quran has never been altered or changed.

Yes indeed, we all will be joined together in unity of faith for there is only 1 God, 1 Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who was crucified for all flesh, and 1 Holy Spirit who has sealed our salvation until the time of Jesus return.

As ex-Muslims, we believe freedom of conscience and expression of that conscience to be the most important principle of our secular and free society – and we wish for Muslims to understand this principle too. That is why we supported the Quran Project when it seemed their posters may have been...

LOL......I see what your saying now....lol. sorry....anyway this is a very good discussion on this thread and it has me thinking.;)

I think I am going to rephrase this.....if I am following the responses correctly the works that will be burned up....some are saying this refers to leadership and teachers? correct? and I am thinking that this may refer to our faith. But it could be both....I dunno.

This simply refers to the times God would speak to me to do something that required my faith to trust that I am hearing from Him....for example when He spoke to me and said He wanted me to move to Tulsa....I replied I can't afford the move but if you want me to move then provide the way. That...

Well the question was concerning what works is the fire burning and I was bringing up the possibility that it may be the works of our faith. 1 Corinthians 3:13 says the worth of our works will be revealed by fire. This applies two ways. First is the testings on earth, our trials and...

#1 Some Muslims argue, "The Qur'an is the Word of God because the text of the Qur'an has been preserved perfectly." This argument is erroneous for two reasons: a. Factually, the text of the Qur'an has not been preserved perfectly. The text has additions, deletions, conflicting manuscripts, and...

Addiction is in the flesh so it is the same in both believers and unbelievers This third part can only apply to born again believers because unbelievers cannot have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. As far as doing hardcore drugs with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit....I can only suggest...

This is something that is unique to each individual....some can only achieve sobriety through group meetings such as AA, others through Counseling/Therapy, others through the prayer of deliverance and the Holy Spirit....I cannot say which is the best way because people have gained freedom from...

Hi Grace and everyone....so is it not possible that the works the scripture is referring to be our works of faith? especially when considering the trial by fire in the testing of our faith. Example: People who claim to have faith in God to miraculously heal someone who is sick but never seek...

My heart does go out to those of Catholic faith and the persecution they suffer and I pray we will all come to a unity of faith someday....well the Bible says we will so I will just stand on that promise.

A couple of scriptures to consider.... 2 Kings 2:11-12 King James Version (KJV) 11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven...………….. So...

I have been taught by Lester Sumrall that if something is in your life that has you bound or captive it may be a demonic spirit that has attached itself to you.... His teachings can be found on YouTube..... Also this link has some excellent teachings about how they operate against God's people...

What an amazing testimony of the power of His name!

:D that is definitely worth points! at least it was full word...lol

Well this is definitely an example of putting an angel on assignment....I am going to go study this some more.

I am not supporting assigning angels nor denying it to be possible...Jacob wrestled with a man and wouldn't let him go until he blessed him...there are controversial theories as to whether this man was an angel or God....but nevertheless the appearance of angels is scriptural, we may be...

So this person wrote a book "angels on assignment" and I shared it for open discussion....I have encountered one for myself but I didn't call for him, he was sent to me. So as I said this is not taught much in church however the Bible speaks a lot about angels appearing to us. And in Revelation...
