"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

So why would you not want to keep everything that is written in the book of the law? It's the ones who disobey, reject, and say 'that's not for me' who because they don't obey the law, must be under the curse right? It's the disobedient, not the obedient, who are under the law and it's curse.

Is the Easter Bunny a fraud?

I'm going to suggest that the Easter bunny isn't a fraud. The intent of any fraud is to deceive. No-one I suggest is deceived by an Easter bunny. I would suggest on fact that more people are deceived by Easter itself, believing it to be the correct institutional celebration of the death and...

if i wanted to become a catholic

I find it completely astonishing that a Catholic could entertain a mindset that has a persecution complex so soon after his own institution was forced by common human decency and loss of civil power to forsake her own 1000 years of historical insistence in shortcutting other people's entry into...

Returning To A 19th Century Standard Of Living Soon?

A couple of months ago I was seriously contemplating buying a motor bike. I can afford the repayments queen readily on my current income, but the Lord very clearly said, no. Not now. Too late. Stay debt free. Be prepared to just up and leave without ties. Let there be nothing to bind you to the...

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

I have no argument with the scripture you quoted above. All who rely on their obedience to the law for salvation are doomed to failure. But why does that necessarily mean obedience to God's Commandments is now, once salvation is obtained through the blood of the Lamb, an option that may be...

if i wanted to become a catholic

Criticizing your history and pointing out your unbiblical doctrines is not persecution.

if i wanted to become a catholic

The moment they got into bed with the kings and queens of the earth. Spiritual adultery. Using civil power to sustain their authority. And they haven't changed. The leopard hasn't changed it's spots.

Returning To A 19th Century Standard Of Living Soon?

If Christians aren't yet making positive and radical moves to draw closer to Jesus, learning to cleave to Him and to trust Him implicitly for all their needs, shedding the love for this world and it's luxuries and needless comforts, they will find themselves in deep trouble very shortly. It's...

    Intolerance

Mm. That would greatly depend on the attitude of the one you are speaking with. Some whose behavior is unacceptable would react to your expressions of intolerance than other's expressions of tolerance. Up to them whether they accept counsel and correction or prefer the approval of the tolerant...

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

You really really need to rethink this. Seriously.

Divinity Verses Deity of Jesus Christ.

Scripture is crystal clear that by way of rank, the Father is superior. But by way of attributes, and glory, and authority, they are equal. When Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, the Jews knew what he was claiming. They knew that what he was claiming wasn't a sonship like Jews had with God...

Divinity Verses Deity of Jesus Christ.

Surely you aren't claiming Patrick was Catholico_O But yes, Ulfilas taught Christ's divinity. Not the trinity as per Catholic creeds. Salvation through the blood of Christ .

    Why do Catholics…

    I have a priest... Jesus.

    Why do Catholics…

You misunderstand. It's about the territories they conquered. Isaac Newton wrote brilliantly on the subject. Of course he didn't include America...a bit after his time.

Divinity Verses Deity of Jesus Christ.

Are you sure about that? Have you ever read the writings of Ulfilas, who evangelized the so called barbarian Goths and turned their entire kingdom into a Christian power?

Divinity Verses Deity of Jesus Christ.

Those options aren't scriptural certainly. But there is another option that is scriptural, and reveals Jesus as divine. Why aren't you offering that as the only viable alternative seeing you doesn't hold any more water than the two you first maligned?

    Why do Catholics…

Actually, I agree from one perspective with theefaith. The beasts/empires of Daniel, all pagan empires, spread from east to west. Babylon, Persia, Greece, Pagan Rome, papal Rome, then protestant America. It's a very interesting prophetic paradigm.

    Why do Catholics…

No reason whatsoever. Optional extras. There simply to impress. For show. Display. Expression of pride. And it's all you've got.

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

If you are truly guided by the holy Spirit, then the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in you. Jesus did not die to free you from obeying the law, He died so you could obey it. It is up to you whether you want to or not. If you don't... If you discard the law... Of you persist in claiming...
