The Bible seems to indicate differently here, Robert.

What was so attractive about Jesus?

Bump. The obedience that I know of is of the two commandments; putting God first - before yourself and your own family? And loving your neighbor as yourself, would you agree @Bob Estey? It’s understandable that if people make decisions that can lead them in prison? Or bad finically situations...

Is it taught that Jesus returned in 1914, according to Jehovah witness @Robert Gwin. It was something I heard that perhaps you could let me know if you do believe that or is it just something some person stated that wasn’t true?

Lol. May have been an orangoutang.

John the Baptist said that baptism that one needs or should desire is the one which comes through Jesus who baptisms in the Holy Spirit and fire. This is similar to the dove that falls on the Holy One Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell with-in us, according to the Bible and what it...

Interesting insights Episok. Thank you for sharing.

My mom likes to put up a tree, and put up the lights. She just looks at it as something to do and decorations. My mother as professed her belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, had came to this world, died, was buried, and resurrected. That gives me reassurance that all she does is try to live by the...

Part 8 Talking about the end of the world.

To me I believe it’s Jesus who brings forth freedom in truth, to be set free from the bondage of sin and death : though our flesh does fail from time to time; but we are given the ability to now live by the spirit. Rom. 16:17-18 "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and...

So you believe that you should just cut off all ties with others due to their not believing exactly as you do? I’ll say that principle make sense but does one really have to do what Paul suggest here? Can you still love your neighbor despite their theological differences? That all depends I...

It seems Jesus after having washed the feet of his disciples before Judas had delivered Jesus over to the Chief priest and Pharisees. Jesus in Chapter 14 is talking to his disciples, @Robert Gwin. This is why it is important for people dig in their bibles, and read and grow and mature in Christ...

There must be some difference, even James an Apostle of the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ said this in his letter to the people whom he wrote to saying there are two kinds of wisdom. Two Kinds of Wisdom - James 3 13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life...

John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Jesus even said that God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him (by his Love). What does it mean that the Son was not sent into...

Did Jesus go and fight the social ills, and injustices of the world while he was on his mission for His Father? What are some of the principles that Jesus had taught his disciples; pertaining to dealing with situations with in the world? Did Jesus fight against the world, or did he do the...

May the holy spirit of God lead people to truth.

Why does Jesus say, that people should love God first? Even though in the book of John it is noted that Jesus says that we should believe the Father is in Him. John 14:11 The Way, the Truth, and the Life …10Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to...

Did you get your bible out and read it, @Robert Gwin, that is the quickest way to know. Does anything Jesus have to say have any truth to it? Some people question that even Moses existed, so it is understandable that people take in somethings that Jesus says, or the Apostles but disregard other...

Anyone? Jesus said some interesting things to his disciples.
