Neither was Noah, or Lot, or the Church. The people who will be "taken away" are the wicked. The rest of us will enter the Millennial Kingdom. :) As far as being "surprised", there is ONE group which WILL be SURPRISED: 1 Thess. 5:3 When people say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden...

Oh, NO! I FULLY expect that day, -- it's just not a Tribulation era event. Rev. 20 says who will return with Jesus, and it doesn't include the "church". And of course the "rapture" doesn't happen until the DEAD are raised, which isn't until the end of the Millennial Kingdom (Ref. Rev. 20)...

... or may already be upon us ... :) Bobby Jo

Yep, you're all set. There's nothing more I can add. Good Luck. :)

If you want to believe the liars, then please do. However, if you want to OBEY the angel (12:4 & 9), then please pursue the TRUTH. I'm offering to give you perspectives which you should investigate, but very few are up to it. :) Bobby Jo

There. I summed up a whole lot of words for you. You're welcome, Bobby Jo

You know, if I was avoiding a conversation, I'd say all kinds of off-the-wall stuff to distract the discussion. -- But I have more important things to do than listening to nonsense. If you want to discuss ~100 prophetic events which are in context with both Scripture and World History, then...

There's no shortage of shysters in religion (just ask Jesus), or in politics. The only difference is whether Jesus can save you, or whether politicians can save you ... Bobby Jo

. bbyrd, you stumble through life as a blind man walking though a maze of furniture, but Jesus gave us light and the Holy Spirit makes our path straight. -- Each of us choose. Bobby Jo

Keraz, I'd be MORE than happy to walk a discussion through this 9th Chapter of Daniel to see EXACTLY what both the Scriptures and History have to say, but your assumptions are so far removed from the TRUTH, I can't imagine you have the flexibility to have that discussion. Perhaps I should...

It's not all your fault. We've allowed HIRELINGS to take over our churches and fellowships, and we've been manipulated into trusting them to deliver our Christianity. But Scripture states how the Church is SUPPOSED to be run: 1 Cor. 14:26 What then, brethren? When you come together, each one...

Yep, I'll knock the tarnish off your "christianity" (small "c") so that it becomes "Christianity" (capital "C"). This is, unless you tarnish it up again. -- Then all bets are off. :) Bobby Jo

Perhaps before one pontificates on what the "great delusion" is, one should figure out WHO the person is. If it's Obama, then we might have certain expectations, or if it's Trump we might have other expectations. Of course it's NEITHER of these -- although Obama has earned and received the...

Thanks for the note, -- I "ignore" several posters and was actually just now looking for my previous communication with you because I realized that your viewable post was incomplete due to the less than well considered individual who is "ignored"! So my bad, but I'm glad your follow-up allows...

Phhhhhhhh, -- Scripture says if a "prophet's" words don't come to pass that we don't need to fear him. But if you have no standing before GOD, then maybe you should fear not only the FALSE PROPHETS, but also the lying politicians, the corrupt cops, and let your wife be the head of the house...

So then you know where to find these Scriptures! And you're now convinced that GOD can write something some 2,500 plus years before it happens, and it happened EXACTLY as GOD said it would. So being convinced, you accept both GOD and Scripture (and thereby Jesus) as Eternal Unmitigated TRUTH...

... you're in luck, because I can EASILY give you ~100 citations where Scripture prophesies about events in the 1900's which have come true, including WWI, WWII (including Fat Man and Little Boy), etc., etc. -- And they're all easily verified by History, which can't be said for some ancient...

Phhhhhhhh, -- do what you want, but it ain't me who asked a SPECIFIC QUESTION, and then goes merrily along the forest path picking any flower which happens along the way. James :6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed...

Yeah, -- made me chuckle! :) Oh yeah, HE's coming. The circumstances preceding his arrival won't be easy, but HIS Church is exhorted to have "endurance", and we will see that day in the near future, -- ~ 2 1/2 years per my best understanding. Bobby Jo

I do believe you've confused your imagination with Jesus' words. But my challenge was for JVI's words. Secondly, if someone tells you 99 things that are INCREDIBLY (read: impossibly) correct, would you tend to believe the 100th? -- Such is Scripture. But if you don't like the TRUTH, perhaps...
