Certainly there are differences in doctrine between churches that are periphery to what really matters which are salvational. And arguing or debating over those issues are quite frankly a waste of both people's time and effort. However, there are issues such as the original discussion on this...

Now this is fascinating, and starkly reveals your frame of mind. First, I have never suggested the Catholic Church began in the 11th century. The Catholic Church began as a true church in Rome, but it's leaders, when put under pressure from pagan persecution, compromised first by abandoning the...

The old covenant was given to a nation which failed ok two major counts. First, they abjectly failed to share the good news of God's covenantal love with anyone other than themselves. Second, they rejected the Lord of the covenant. The Son of God did not die for just Israel. He died for the...

I recommend this... Cast it to a big screen, put on your head phones, and feel the joy.

Absolutely. KJV Revelation 14:12 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Does your church... Do you... keep all the Commandments of God? I ask because you asked what church is identified as God's church. God's church is...

Skeptics, those looking for reasons to reject the Bible, often point to some strong words of God that appear in the Old Testament. And here we have Christians giving the worse perspective upon God in the context of His law. The idea is that the God of the Old Testament was harsh, vindictive...

Why is it either a threat or a warning? I see it as a promise of love and faithfulness. A promise to extend life as we honor those who gave us life. I find it sad that such a commandment which in Deuteronomy were described as being "for our good always", is used as a vehicle for...

So when did Christ's teachings of love your enemies and pray for those that hate you and persecute you, change to destroy your enemies and torture them if they don't confess to Christ and submit to papal authority?

No. I read his posts and see an honest Catholic. But not a Christian.

“For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom He will…That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father….For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;” {John 5:21-27}. What kind of life...

KJV Deuteronomy 30:10 10 If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. Who was it that spoke His law on Sinai other...

I would add, that KJV Deuteronomy 28:58 58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; The Lord thy God in the above verse is the union of Father and Son. It is plural. Jehovah elohim.

Excuse me, but none here is denying that Jesus is the Son of God. And when Jesus spoke of God as His Father in the hearing of the Jews, they knew exactly what He meant. He meant Son in the very highest sense. And it is in that sense that makes Him equal with the Father in all respects except...

I have a friend in NZ who spent a lot of time in the US, has ties to the US military, and would swear black and blue that is precisely what is being planned.

It's ironic. How many Christians say, hath God said, not realizing they are quoting and repeating the doubt Satan sewed in Eve's mind regarding death. Yes shall not surely die. Only today they have extended Satan's authority not only with regards the state of the dead, but use his critical, hath...

Typically devious politically, aunty Jacinda has played on the Maori mind by referring back to the flu epidemic in 1907 which decimated the Maori population.

Man begets man... Not flesh of another kind. Good created angels... God begets another of the same kind... God. KJV Psalms 83:18 18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. And Jesus confirmed the above when He said, that they may know...

You are repeating yourself and the historical fact that your church throughout is life since the 4th century, and particularly with the Frank king Clovis who was honored as the "favorite son of the Catholic Church" or words to that effect, and used him and countless others to wield the sword on...

Enoch, I love you brother and agree with much of what you contribute to this forum. But on this matter I think those covid masks are covering your eyes. You cannot validate and prove something that hasn't taken place yet. But the historicist approach had valid irrefutable evidence of the 1260...
