Too often it is, as it seems to me, more than "almost"!

Yes God and His Son may always be trusted. It is you and me that are so often untrustworthy. God having made us, knows this about us and our weakness better than we do. It starts so simply as it did Peter, who seeing Jesus walking on the water by faith stepped out on the water as well. How...

Praying especially for Namrata for her birthday!

Probably they all do have rules, and most of the churches in my experience do train people to quench the Spirit of God by their rules. Most or the people in such churches, if they had the Holy Spirit in them, have made quenching the Spirit into a habit. God is allowed to manifest through...

Can a goat become a sheep?

Until and if we have overcome the world as Jesus did!

Sorry but it is not in my job description! Your purpose here seems to be to win rather than to edify. I have no interest in the kind of a prize offered in such a contest. Consider here a couple of questions: Must each person pass a theological test in order to be always with God? Are those...

If they can and actually are able to do it without being hypocrites! "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:" Acts 10:34

I do believe that God has rules which need to be followed, but the source of the rules needs to be Him. A flawed and/or fallible man or church group deciding for God is not...the source. Some churches and some individuals may say or believe that their rules are always equal to God's, but I have...

Silly people, is it? I do not insist on anything. I have seen only mocking on your part against any opposition and you have given me no reason to expect anything else. So no explanations of verse 35 forthcoming from me.

A remnant is usually a leftover piece as when my wife used to work as a seamstress. She would make a garment, but after cutting all of the pieces to precise measurements and joining them together, there would be scraps or remnants remaining. She would save any sizable ones for possible use on...

Jesus defeated Satan personally so that when it was time he was fully prepared to go to the cross. Lots of suffering and pain to go through when he laid down his physical body unto death... but no more temptations in him... On planet Earth? What about in "planet MatthewG" or "planet...

Has anyone else besides me ever failed one of His tests? But... if you do fall or stumble or in distraction begin ... "But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and...

Yes, if!

When we fight on the Lord's side we win every time. Believing people do lose battles because they try to do it alone. "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." John 15:5 Whenever we quench...

Defeated perhaps when we repented that first time and even many times since then... but herein is the problem I still see..., not yet finally and completely killed in me! "Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine...

You finally took me off of ignore! You still cling to your carnal emphasis on the following words of Jesus... "And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let...
