The Changing Roll of the Church

Just to add, also not everyone has the same experiences growing up. Some people have it all together early in life, some people it takes a little longer for them to get straightened out if they ever decide to go along with God. You also had mentioned family unit; I do not really know what it is...

The Changing Roll of the Church

Hello Angelina, Having been a church goer on and off through my life. A couple of thoughts come to my mind when going to church on and off like that, and even if popping up into a church building which there are dozens of around here in Alabama. The first thought is, the importance of learning...

What are your thoughts on this section of scripture (Luke 9)

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve 9 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases,2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3 He told them: “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no...

What does the word faith mean

Yes good study subject, @Peterlag. Pistis, is the greek word for Faith. From what I understand is that when a person takes the time to go and read and spend time with the Lord. The Lord is the one speaking about the kingdom and learning many things the apostles learned. That helps build faith...

How does the Body of Christ Mature?

As citizens of the Heavenly Jerusalem by faith in the Lord Yeshua, who was the Word that came, was born in flesh. Lived a perfect life, and paid the price of sin for all people allows for anyone to come to the Father in heaven who puts their faith in the one whom raised Jesus from the dead. A...

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

I believe we probably do, as you mentioned about that 70 weeks being (of years) because that is something that was taught to me. There are similarities between our beliefs though I may not fully understand what it is you believe personally about certain things. It's a good thing you also say...

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

Another simple question to ask to the public in general. Though this topic is about Jesus Christ, taking away the sins of the world, in which God has reconciled his creation back unto himself, because of the price of sin along with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Which was God working in and...

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

@Earburner, my question to you is, are we still waiting on the Lord to come back and set-up a "material" kingdom on earth again?

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

You can keep saying that but I don't personally buy it, @Earburner. Some see it as symbolic and that is okay.

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

I believe God gave just judgement on the Nation of Israel for killing His Son, @Earburner. Those of those twelve tribes were the bride of Christ, that is how I believe. People may see that as unjust but for me personally I do not believe that God does anything unjust.

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

@Earburner the reason that I believe that the 144,000 is not symbolic because the sealed were from the 12 tribes of Israel. 144,000 Sealed 7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the...

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

That’s called being saved to the heavenly kingdom, and sometimes I believe the book of life even had to do with Israel. I don’t believe the number is symbolic, though you keep suggesting that it is. What I do believe is that there will never be and end to the heavenly kingdom that God and the...

I believe God truly divorced the whore Israel, in 70Ad. Thank you @Earburner.

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

Okay @Earburner. I believe those people where real live breathing human beings who were the 144,000. That must be the difference we see. Sure you can interpret it your way, but the same situation for me. God is good. Thank you for taking time to share even though we might see differently, the...

If Jesus was the One who took away sins from the world?

Cool @Earburner thank you for sharing sir. However he did come for his first fruit bride in 70Ad. People come into the kingdom by and through faith. That is the destination of the believer is the kingdom after this life.
