Hi Breadandsalt! Welcome to CyB There are many books I could suggest but I doubt that this is going to convince unbelievers unless they know the people involved personally. Trying to convince a bunch of guys that there is a supernatural realm is difficult unless they have experienced it...

"there are no great men working in God's Kingdom. Rather, there ia a great God at work in human beings wo have childlike faith. You have not yet seen what God wants to do through you" ~ Reinhard Bonnkee

Amen to that StanJ

You are not dealing with a familiar spirit here. You are dealing with a self induced OBE. Spiritists use this same technique to astral travel. A resurrected body does not necessarily equate to a physical body since God himself is Spirit and Jesus who was born flesh on our behalf...is Spirit and...

Reiterating this point again - "I'm glad that it is the Lord God who judges the living and the dead rather than man" :)

No...it's not. I'm saying that God will judge her according to his knowledge and understanding of her life. Whatever that may look like because she is not a believer... God knows every heart and nothing is hidden from his sight. Now this is interesting...you have made an assumption and then you...

If you read this passage again you will see that he was talking to his disciples... again...Jesus is speaking to those who are already followers of Christ. Please refer to the beginning of his discourse where he says: Mark 9:41. and finishes with this - Mark 9: 50. Webers_ I think that you...

Personal speculation is not going to change God's decision over an individual's destination. He knows all things including everything a person has ever done in their life time. Joan has already left her earthly tent. To say whether a person is destined to heaven or hell based on our limited...

That doesn't make any sense... is english your second language? Why would I want to think about someone I don't know going to heaven or hell? My confidence in Jesus has nothing to do with God's judgment of individuals. I am not God, nor am I divine. I leave such decisions to our maker and...

Hmmm....I don't believe in "Soul Sleep." This verse is taken out of Ecclesiastes - the writer was musing on the the fact that the living know that they will die but the dead know nothing....This was also prior to the cross and Jesus - the firstfruit of the living. If someone had a demonically...

"Soul Sleep" is a doctrine I totally oppose. Our God is a God of the living not the dead or the sleeping... ;) Matthew 8:11, Matthew 22:32 I don't think that's any of our business...our business is to listen to God and obey his will while we are still in the land of the living. :)

Forgiveness is part of our redeemed life as believer's. The bible makes it clear [Matt 6:9-15] we need to forgive others as our heavenly Father has forgiven us. When I ask God to forgive me for harboring an offense in my heart towards others, that offense cannot be brought up again. My...

"I read of the revivals of the past, great sweeping revivals where thousands of men were swept into the Kingdom of God. I read about Charles G. Finney winning his thousands and his hundreds of thousands of souls to Christ. Then I picked up a book and read the messages of Charles G. Finney and...

Sin does not exist in heaven. If you get to heaven then you are blessed. God does not let sinners in, he lets the redeemed of the Lord in who have received him by grace through faith. You have been forgiven and washed clean by the blood of Jesus prior to entering. Angels were not given the same...

My apologies...I thought that you needed this poem but it seems you didn't need my help after all.

Wow!

Yay! SNOW! did your tree split?

Hi foreigner, Nice to hear from you again. Give me some time and I will do my best to answer some of the questions he has brought to light. Bless you!!! ----------------------------------------------------- Your friend does believe that there is a God...he just thinks that since God is "all...
