And so then press forward as God leads you to speaks as God gives you words. I know that you do this, but be careful not to get ahead of God! He is the One leading!

Without doubt there is a time limit... for me and for thee and for everyone else, but what we must do is simply seek and then follow as we are led. Tomorrow or even a minute from now is not where we are in this moment. I cannot foresee for me or for thee or for them, and I can only speak...

While that may so I would say that the verse also relates to what Jesus taught about little children here: "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this...

I essentially agree, although the Way one comes to know what is or is not in that body of Truth will vary, will it not?

Yes, and I can remember too many times as a young man when I was embarrassed but had no words at all to speak. Do you suppose the following verse is related? "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling...

A couple of years before he was 10 years old, my little son told a neighbor girl his own age: "If you're not baptized in Jesus name, you're going to hell". Her mother came to visit my wife and rebuked her in no uncertain terms. At close to the same age, my little daughter seeing some Hari...

@I.O.U I was simply supporting or agreeing with your point with the verses posted.

That is precisely what many churches [offline physical church organizations] have been doing for a very long time. Most all of them claim to be Christian, but with very inflexible boundaries. Many forums are like that. When a person is young in the Lord, God allows a whole lot of leeway because...

I certain could not embrace all four as many people here do. Unfortunately too many people will not admit even the possibility that something they believe or that their particular church group or that the majority of Christendom holds as truth might be in error. In John 6 we see where Jesus...

Thanks Helen! We've been better, but we are coping. His memory, or I should say the lack thereof is worse for us than his physical problems. He forgets things the doctor told him and that we told him several times and then gets angry because we are in the know about something concerning him and...

@devin553344 Continuing to pray for you on this.

Welcome to the forum!

Then you must wait for @kcnalp to explain. The initial post was his.

Sorry... it was posted from the viewpoint of my often misguided sense of humor. On the serious side, my post #2 is more to my point. To know who God considers heretic, a person needs to know the mind of God at the moment in a real life situation. Hypothetical ideas or suggestions can and do...

Only heretics need to concern themselves!

Indeed! "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican." Luke 18:11 "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his...
