I was never a Mormon, but my brother was and he gave me his nice bound copy of the Book of Mormon dated in 1966, which I still keep for reference. I read it many years ago, but not lately. It includes the Book of Doctrines and Covenants as well as the Pearl of Great Price. At work Uncle Sam...

Yes, we could lose Internet access and electrical power while still hanging onto to a few pages of a paper Bible. People have become often too dependent on what the computer and the Internet offer. They should read about Corrie Ten Boom [The Hiding Place] and the "Bible" God helped her obtain...

"This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that...

I grew up a different world. I can remember coming home from school and turning on the radio for like most people in those days there was not even a television set in my home. Personal computers? What is that? Internet? What is that? I went to work for the Social Security Administration in 1974...

Being like Him must be happening NOW for otherwise will we ever see Him as He is? Will "then" spoke of by the Apostle Paul ever arrive for us? "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we...

Praying that you may have peace of mind my friend!

He is still active in his own forum. I don't go there often or anywhere else anymore. I always had great respect for Giuliano. I wish he were still here, but God knows what He is doing all of the time.

What is inside of the Ark? Unclean animals, clean animals and men at the top? You believe you that the Catholic Church is The Church, the one and only true church apparently. As you see many here disagree with you on that point. Who is right? God is and He alone, when it comes downs to it...

@My Dreams Praying!

"When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other...

I may agree with your literal words and so may many of the other non-Catholics on this forum. It is probably in the underlying unspoken meanings and/or definitions of your words that we differ. Your real in depth answer might be that you are living by faith in the things that you believe to be...

People who have been at least nominal Christians have convinced themselves why they either do not need God or do not even believe that He exists. When I was a practicing Catholic I really believed in God even though I did not know much really about Him. When I moved away from formal...

Thank you for answering. Why would anyone who did not witness the event you described choose to by faith believe that? 1958 must be close to the year of your own birth so you apparently did not witness it with you own carnal eyes. What led you to believe it? Why would or should any...

Would kindly explain for us the difference between the two and why the one to which you belong is the true one?

@Holy999 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." Rev 2:7 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that...

Amen!

Is a person who cannot answer your question lost from God? Actually, considering the meaning of the word, "Solas", there are a whole lot of them in scripture. Here is just one: "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him...

Give God the glory!

What do those words mean to you?
