You should not presume something that was not specifically stated. I am praying for God's will in the situation. God knows what we do not. This is a prayer request sub-forum. If you want to discuss what to pray for or what not to pray for I would suggest taking it to an appropriate sub-forum

Praying for all those affected by his loss!

Why do you presume that @aspen is still sinning or that I am condoning what he has done in the past? [Note that is not here to defend himself... last seen in February on this forum.] Should we rebuke every person anyone else criticizes of condemns? "Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words...

Not all Catholics reject speaking in tongued or all of the so-called charismatic movements. I recall many years ago when I was a new convert and working in San Francisco I met with several people during our lunch break on my secular job to pray and talk together about God and the things of God...

Yes, I pray in tongues daily, 7 days a week. I have done so for many years. Tongues bringing God's message to people is another thing where an interpreter is required. I have never been used that way. My wife has been used to bring messages in tongues to the Church as well as to interpret...

@ShineTheLight Praying for your situation!

Welcome to the forum.

Praying that God help you through these difficulties!

Even if he were guilty... are you an official inquisitor or prosecutor sent from God? Who among us does not have sin in his past? What right have you to demand his response to you? I know that he has been a friend to me. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Rom 3:23...

I am praying for you my friend!

Sweet? This means what? Do you realize that many people, myself certainly included, do not read most of the posts on this forum for lack of time. What does "sweet" mean as you have used it?

Did she really call you that? Who among us is Not a liar? "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged." Rom 3:4 And when are follow our own ways even for a moment instead...

Actually, men, as inspired by God wrote both the OT and the NT. The Church consists of men. It is not any one organized group of men who given themselves a name to qualify for special tax exemptions with the secular governments. It is not even any one organized group of men who have decided that...

We have done this already. Stagnant water!

Again you are presuming that you, that is @theefaith are right. Don't tell me it is the Catholic Church teaching you because, if probably all of the ones who call themselves Catholic on this forum would disagree with you along with those you call Protestants. You are pre-Vatican II and they are...

Fine then you go with the ones who you believe are teaching the Truth. All of us have authority over ourselves to decide which way to go, given to us, I believe, by God. God has all of the Truth. No man of my acquaintance does. You want to say that the Church has all of the Truth, and I might...

How? How did those in the OT limit God? "Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel." Psalm 78:41 Our dominion over ourselves has, I believe, never been removed. We are supposed to be led by the Holy Spirit, but consider what happens in most church meetings...

I have nothing against the early apostles, but they too were fallible men. None of them are with us today to provide assistance. There are ministers called and sent by God today, but there are also some who say 'good' words by the wrong spirit. Some are pretenders perhaps, but not all. You may...

To me and to most people that is an arbitrary division made by men. Why is it different than what Martin Luther did? If you simply believe it by faith, that is your testimony, but for others walking and talking with God, it is not seen. Do not be surprised if your point of division is rejected...

Your question is a bit unclear to me. However, what I do believe is that the dominion of us is ours until we given it back to the One who gave it to us, God! When we start going our own way again then we have taken back the reins to ourselves again and without Him we can do nothing, nothing good...
