How one hears determines everything. The how sets in motion a seeing other than solely cognitive. How did Pilate hear when Jesus was brought before him and Pilate asked 'what is truth'? How did Nicodemas hear when Jesus spoke of being born again? How did Peter hear when Jesus said he would die...

where are the believers going? ....all who are translated both the living and the resurrected dead?...... isn't it back to where Jesus came from? And who will he take with him back to where he came from? The dead are dead that's why they are resurrected. They are not in heaven then ferried...

Is the written text made into God? Is there confusion between the printed page and the word made flesh? Jesus said, 'you have heard said but I say unto you......etc'. In other words, Jesus overrides and gives the written text its place. The written text is subservient to Jesus'...

Ultimately, Jesus is the word of God. Reading scripture without the lens of Jesus short changes the reader. Giving lip service to that lens is one thing, using it is quiet another.

Determining what is intended as literal and what is intended as figurative and getting it right is the essence of wisdom. One cannot join the dots well if fudging to underpin a predetermined outcome is practiced.
