Where does it say that???

Not if Christ became that sacrifice for sin once and for all because all were subject to sin including the O/T believer's...then all have an opportunity under the new covenant of eternal life by faith in Christ. Galatians 3 22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by...

While contemplating on the various aspects of monergism and synergism, I find myself leaning toward the latter when "regeneration" refers to the salvation experience...and the former, when referring to being "Born-again" This is purely based on the premise that we are following a process from...

Hey 7, ...I totally agree with the age of grace that we are in at this point of time. Whether the millennium reign continues eternally??? I'm unsure Bless ya!

Romans 10 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart...

I disagree with your premise here. Following the requirement of the law was no-longer necessary because Christ, the passover lamb, fulfilled those requirements therefore becoming the great high priest of a new covenant at his resurrection. This was prior to Paul starting his ministry to the...

praying for you newlife... Bless you!

Heard this one before but it seems more like the oneness doctrine.

Trying to do the Lord's work in your own strength is the most confusing, exhausting, and tedious of all work. But when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, then the ministry of Jesus just flows out of you." --Corrie ten Boom

You have misunderstood the context of this scripture as faith is believing without seeing rather than seeing and therefore believing...the intent is about deceptive philosophy which relies on elemental spiritual forces [spiritual laws or principles] of this world rather than on Christ. Who is...

People use to believe that the world was flat...some still do today. I was disappointed when I found out that Santa did not park his reindeer on the roof of my house and shimmy down the chimney to place pressies under the tree at Christmas time but I did not hold my parent accountable for...

You misunderstand my O/P. The onus is not necessarily on the person but rather the mindset influenced by their world view. Something that must be renewed which may take time to process and develop in their personal relationship with Christ. Romans 12: 2

Why would you [noted as "Christian" on your PP] come to a Christian forum and start a thread about people abandoning Christianity regardless of their reasons?... If I were to investigate the theory of evolution as a believer [and it is only a theory], I would do so based on the bible and not...

As born-again believer's, I think we need to be viewing God from out of the heart of our new man and not our old man. This may take some time [ie: sanctification] but it's well worth it in the end. I have a friend who is saved but thinks that God is this distant unknowable deity that he prays...

Wow! are you gonna make a snowman? :) I think I would...

I have come across a number of Christians whose perception of God tends to be influenced by their own personal world-view and/or external factors including upbringing, cultural/tradition, environmental socio/economic etc. This is then carried over into their personal relationship with him as...

Thank you honey....that means a lot to me. Thank you everyone! you're all just so wonderful! xox

Lol! Now that's gotta be Made in NZ! ;)

Oh sorry Madad21, I'm a little tired out from work...but promise to try and concentrate ;) God requires us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This is what Jesus said... The same Jesus that went to the cross for those who were still sinners. Not those residing in hell/hades...

Oh Boy! that's the saddest excuse for a kiwi I have ever seen...are you sure you're a Kiwialian and not an Austrakiwian? ;) BTW: Thanks!
