From: Changing of the Guards - The Order of things to come

Matthew 17 17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking...

    The Sower

The Parable of the Sower Matthew 13 NKJV 3 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. Jesus explains: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does...

Remember Wednesday night and keep it Holy?

Hi Fred, I'm sorry to hear that you are grieved over this situation. I know that your Pastor may mean well but It just does not justify him trying to manipulate his flock to get their attendance. If God wanted members to be at the Wednesday night service, I'm sure he would make the way...

    Hello

Hey Heartstrings! Glad to have you join us here @CyB You can ask questions directly, either in the Bible Study/Discipleship or the general Christian forums. is this a type of rapture? or...

no...I do not think so. It's very much like something that Paul struggled with in; 2 Corinthians 5:1-8 6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would...

    Testimonies

I read the most incredible testimony recently which was so awe inspiring that it literally blew me away! When I hear or read about these amazing personal stories, I am constantly reminded that God does hear our prayers even those who can only express themselves with deep sighs and painful tears...

    Socially Challenged but Spiritually In-Tune

I guess one of the most poignant moments in my Christian walk was when I enrolled at University. I was fortunate enough to have one of my friends join me as she also chose a similar career path. Our lecturers were inspiring and we found ourselves excelling in all areas of varsity life, becoming...

    Something Vaguely Familiar

Have you ever walked into a room or heard a piece of music or even a familiar smell that sends your mind reeling back to a specific moment in time? Amazing how our minds are wired to our senses that way and how something vaguely familiar can spark a flood of memories associated with that moment...

Is your SPIRIT ALIVE or is your SPIRIT DEAD?

One only needs to look at your post #3 and it is clear what you were meaning... If I were going to ban you I would have been banned by now but it seems that you have difficulty in understanding what I have been trying to express to you. This is a "Discussion Forum" not a place to dump reams of...

    Who is the Father?

I like this verse from Hebrews 1. 6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.” 7 And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.” 8 But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is...

    Why am I not healed?

I truly do not know why some believers get healed and yet others do not. I have seen people get healed instantly including myself while others are healed over a period of time. As someone who has been involved in a healing ministry myself, I have found that when a believer forgives others who...
