There are a whole of those idols all over the place in our country as well. Let us pray for the people who are looking to idols in both countries then!

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:" Ecc 3:1 "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps" Jerem 10:23 Who knows the season and time for each us for each step we are to take in our walk...

Certainly one should, it seems to me, if a person really is a follower of Christ, have had a beginning that would have preceded any speculations or much [any?] outspoken conjecture. Where were we before we met Jesus on 'our road to Damascus'? Where are we at the moment? Where does anyone...

@Heart2Soul @Angelina @Josho @lforrest Going too far a field. There are other places to discuss these other issues. It seems people are finished with the subject of the OP. Thanks to everyone! Please lock this thread. Thank you!

Praying for mother and child to be born!

Free will and pride? God can fix anything, but he is bound by His own Word in which He gave men dominion over themselves. It is part of God's overall plan for men. God spoke His Word[if that is the right word for it] from the beginning or before the beginning of man. He gave men the will to...

@Heart2Soul @lforrest @Angelina Do we need some moderation here?

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible" Mark 10:27

Giving God the glory while continuing to pray!

Praying also for your friend!

@BarnyFife I checked my own files and found this which I wrote down in 2009. It seems to speak to your issue here [I have edited it slightly from the original]: Grace, is it enough? "That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and...

Yes, Jesus had to be a Kinsman Redeemer, but is not the real pressing question here whether anyone in the left hand of God may move or be moved into His right hand? Can one who is a goat become a sheep? "And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another...

If brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her. And it shall be, that the firstborn...

I am doing well in the Lord, sister. I live still with my wife. Several years ago we moved from our large home which was very empty and called on us to work a lot just to keep it clean. Our children [only two, a boy and a girl] were gone out into their own places many years ago, and now even the...

What is God and what am I? What is His purpose and then again His desire for me? Why did God create us and all of this in the first place? How does anyone come to knowledge and know that it really knowledge and not a delusion? Lots of questions, but let us start at the beginning and go on from...

And there is this... "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." Matt 6:33-34

It has probably been years since I heard anyone mention the scarlet thread. Thank you for your kindness and your input here! May God richly bless you as you walk with Him!

"This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you" John 15:12 Our will equal to His! "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt" Matt 26:39
