Praying for you now!

Even so my friend! "Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week...

I gave him a 'like' which I sometimes do even though I may disagree generally with the person or even specifically with the post. I have not read enough post by @brightfame52 to have real knowledge of his beliefs. I had a close friend who died from cancer [Dorian37Grey on this forum; or...

Such are men in their beastly way or even as the beasts that they are. Reading history and about the religions of men [not only directly tied to Christianity it may seem] often men who knew not Joseph, men who knew not Jesus, men who knew not Jehovah God, have engaged in some ways or beliefs or...

Did you quote these verses from James to him? "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."James 4:2-3 See also this words...

Joining in prayer here!

I am not a Calvinist. Quite the contrary. Did I post something that made you ask that?

Amen! The key in those verses in order to avoid the delusion is "the love of the truth". Very simply Jesus said that he himself is the Truth. Lots of people will say that much without knowing all there is to know about what and who Jesus is. They "say" they love Him! Saying it with our mouth...

The sides of the mountain we are climbing consist of talus slopes. That means there are a multitude of loose stones underfoot. You cannot stop walking forward because to stand still is to slide backward. Keep moving toward the top [the Light] until you hear Him say, "Well done, thou good and...

I have long felt that man's diminishing life expectancy in the flesh was due to his continuing corruption and his continuous moving away from God. When God saved Noah and his family [8 people] He also saved unclean and clean beasts, but eventually all of the beast natures of a man, even the...

Even so! I have also always strong against tattoos. That some believers have them and approve of them may be in accord with their own faith and so I now try to leave them alone. But... when someone asks me I will give them my opinion. If they don't want to hear, then do not ask! I like @farouk...

Give God the glory my friend!

Praying for him!

Welcome to the forum!

7 Seven 7! "Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female:..." Gen 7:2

Amen!

"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." Gen 6:5

"Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel." Luke 2:29-32

Have any of us ever procrastinated and regretted it? We, all of us, need to not forget that this is the day, today! Tomorrow for us may never arrive... that tomorrow, or next week, or next year, when we have planned to make it all right with God!

Yes, such a testimony as he had... but like our own descendants who too often it seems seldom follows the best advice of some who knows better and has had more first hand experience. They have to find out the hard way. See what happened to the natural children of Israel when Joshua and all of...
