I own two houses in which I let my dad live in the other. The second house I have a lot stored in buildings. My dad searched the buildings for Halloween decoration and complained over the fact that he could not find the first single ornament. I told him that if we were celebrating All-Hallows I...

It is just as important to be right in the heart as well as the head.... Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the...

The LaPlata site also has chat. Sometimes with up to 3,000 tech nerds tuned in at a time!

I also put together a video of a NS engine pulling tons of coal up the mountain from West Virginia. You can see sand being put on the tracks as he labors up the mountain!...

Amtrak on the way!

I believe the first diesel electric locomotives were designed by the Swiss as early as 1914. That was quite an invention for her time! Today they have an intermodal Ship to Train to Truck design that uses 6,000 hp locomotives which takes a lot of truck traffic off the road!

On the following video we have a GE diesel electric train on a stall. On a standard train of 80 cars or more the weight can be over 10,000 tons, or over 20,000,000 pounds. The train has diesel engines which drives large generators. The electricity generated drives traction motors at the wheels...

Father in the name of Jesus I pray for those that never did get their request in. Those that have unsaved loved ones I bind the forces of hell in the name of Jesus, those that are sick and diseased and afflicted... Stretch forth that healing hand of Calvary... Touch them from the crown of their...

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. - 1 Corinthians 1:17 Commendable to the Apostle Paul there was not a following that cascaded down in his name.

I would classify a cult as following a man. Even men such as John Calvin, the Pope, or some other popular name. The Apostle Paul also dealt with this in his time.... 12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ...

"I consider it a serious matter to kill men because they are in error on some question of scriptural interpretation, when we know that even the elect ones may be led astray into error." - Michael Servetus, shortly before being executed by John Calvin I also consider it a serious matter to...

Satanic deception? Please! You can't put people in hell for disagreeing with your eschatology! Especially as Christ declares himself over and over as coming as a thief! If this was post trib it would be rather well announced!

I would make the call that I believe the rapture of the church within the next 30 years, noting, my calculations could be off. I believe a rapture must occur otherwise how are we going to return to reign with Christ 1,000 years if we are still here?

If I had to pick an end time date I would go with the scientist, Isaac Newton... "And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times...

I woke up after working twelve hour shifts to the old hymn...."He Could Have Called Ten Thousand Angels." I did not realize Loretta Lynn wrote this wonderful song.... They bound the hands of Jesus in the garden where he prayed They led him thru the streets in shame They spat upon the savior...

And.... How much of sanctification is just simple faith.... Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and...

I like the old Methodist way sanctification was taught. If the old timers could not sense the sweet spirit of Christ in the experience they would tell you to come back tomorrow night. And smile a little as they said it, especially knowing that there were revivals and good services ahead. My...

Jerry Falwell Jr.... Looks like the double life has caught up with him!

MacArthur referenced the time the Apostle Paul spent in jail during his ministry, and said, "If they want to tuck me into jail, I'm open for a jail ministry. I've done a lot of other ministries and haven't had the opportunity to do that one, so, bring it on." John MacArthur not worried about...
