    Perfection In Christ

Amen! Our faith takes us to His faith which takes us to Him. Paul calls this a mystery. The mystery of being in Him. It is far. Especially we that live in the world today. Let patience have it's work in us. Persevering....never wavering. Waiting on the Lord. Bless you sister. :)

    True or false?

Actually just behaviour is good. The New Covenant doesn't abolish just behaviour. Under the Old covenant nothing was made perfect. Heb. 7:19 (for the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God. What people mistake...

    Drawing the wrong conclusions

Thanks for this example of drawing a wrong conclusion. :) Jesus is still telling the truth today...even if it is no longer "our" truth. We are at the point where the church can't hear the truth anymore...never mind the world.

    Perfection In Christ

People speak much of maturity...but very little of purity. I want to ask...maturity in what? We can get used to an occasional sin...a continued weakness..a fragility of faith. Some would say that maturity is just settling in on less than a faithful life. A new believer that is on fire for the...

    Perfection In Christ

Our calling is to bear a holy fruit...a perfect kind of fruit....an eternal fruit. They who do so will receive a reward for their faith. Faith pleases God. And it does take faith to enter into the heavenly realm where such fruit is produced. 1 Cor. 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that...

    Perfection In Christ

Jesus commands us and compels us to "Be perfect (teleos)." (Mat. 5:48)His resurrection ensures that we have been given the grace to obey and conform to His will that we do just that very thing. But there are many unbelievers in the ranks of they who say they are believers. Many believe for a...

    Perfection In Christ

Most believers think that Jesus was perfect in His life on earth. By perfect I don't mean mature. Jesus was immature as a child...but always perfect. Perfection is the image of God in any given situation. We could say it was a state of being or even a place. It is walking in a heavenly...

    Drawing the wrong conclusions

Don't draw the wrong conclusion...that's how God saves us...to overcome as He overcame. How? By abiding in Him....His life, His faith, His grace, His perfection.

    The testimony of the Waldenses

A great many groups and movements that sought and found the Christian experience of God existed before what is now called the "reformation" took place. The Cathars or Albigensians were such a group that the RC's called "the great heresy"...because they were so successful in certain regions of...

    The Yoke of Jesus.

I don't think many of us modern believers even know what that is. The Yoke of Christ can only be taken on AFTER one has forsaken the world and God has translated us into His realm. THEN, the walk is easy alright...in the light where there is no sin. But getting there is difficult and rarely...

    Oneness with God

What Do You Learn from Debate?

I know that in the Greek..woman in that context means "wife". It is the same thing in French. So Paul prefers for the wives to let their husbands speak. That's why he says...let your husbands explain it at home. Was this the normal meetings he was referring to? Could any woman operate in her...

What Do You Learn from Debate?

Actually YOU have a paper god...that you don't even respect. Your opinions are your guide. The bible is the words FROM God...that I conform my life to...but you ignore. Twice I posted the biblical way to meet as proscribed in 1 Cor. But you ignore the bible because your opinion is what you...

What Do You Learn from Debate?

An evil and divisive mind is not of Christ. So who has been taken in? And by whom?

What Do You Learn from Debate?

You can lie...but anyone who can read can see that I post more verses than you do... So how do you respond to this from the bible? 1 Cor. 14: What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for...
