Mmm. What is faith? Is it a belief in a God who is there only to benefit the few? Is faith a belief in God who has left humanity to it's fate? What faith do you have? Who is the God you believe in? How much do you trust Him? We all boast of our faith and deride those who lose theirs in times of...

If God hasn't got the attention of Christians yet, even to the point where he has banned certain venues and activities obnoxious to Him, then those Christians are blind, dead, and dumb.

Hahaha

Reading back I just twigged what you meant by 'vacation'.

Okay....

He asked for a scripture to prove the OT overrides the new??? Who's claiming the OT overrides the NT? That's just plain weird.

I tell you what. Just try, no matter how weak your attempt may be, but at least try to read the posts of others before your fingers engage the keyboard, and actually address those posts.

Love having an older brother on here to encourage and support... And keep little brother in check from time to time:) Our little sister @Addy I think needs some lovin' too bro. ;)

Lol. I have absolutely no beef with you. Even little sisters, though sometimes a nuisance, are always loved.

Hey Barney. I only just came across this thread despite the tag... Dunno. Great topic though and makes one seriously think about his origins in Christ, where he is now and what hopes he has for the future. Theologically speaking, I came to Jesus because He first wanted to be with me. It is like...

I couldn't agree more. It really is truly astonishing, that right at our fingertips, (or tongue-tips to be more precise), is a vehicle for entering into the throne room of the Creator of the universe! A vehicle that is available to us 24 hours a day, every day of the year. If we had such a...

So why do you expect Protestants to accept this??

I'm in a hurry so will address this very briefly. It isn't about me, but about how God is misrepresented by those so determined to promote what is in reality a medieval doctrine with only an implied support from scripture. There are Hebrew nuances to those references to "for ever and ever" and...

Your position is in league with pagan and new age, as well as Freemasonry and numerous occult belief systems all of whom agree in the natural immortality of the soul. Your reference to so called "cults" is irrelevant. Even more damning to your argument considering they are actually correct and...

I didn't say that. That's for God to judge. Although worshipping a false god isn't ideal is it? And your false belief may affect another's salvation when they reject the false god you are presenting to them.

Replacing Christ with anything or anyone is Antichrist. We are saved by grace through faith... That grace came comes through God, the Father giving His Son as a ransom for us.

We're not talking about the child, we're talking about the symbolic woman of verse The child is the Messiah, the Son of God. A woman clothed with the sun: Scripturally, this woman clothed with the sun should be identified with Israel, according to Joseph’s dream (Genesis 37:9-11). In that...

Dodging the question doesn't help your cause.

What immortal soul? You haven't... You cannot... Prove any immortality in connection to man without it coming as a gift to the redeemed.

Catholics are children of the virgin also? Women in prophecy represent the church. This topology is repeated throughout scripture... No where does a woman in prophecy represent a specific woman. That pure woman in Revelation 12 represents the OT church, the faithful line of those children of...
