AN OFT OVERLOOKED LESSON FROM JACOB'S LADDER

And who made them the 'all seeing eye'... the judge of hearts. :D Even when I am speaking to the obviously unsaved..I hesitate to tell them so. That is not our calling..our calling is the Good News. It does amaze me how so many speak 'as if' with authority, yet cannot even discern a rice...

    A most terrifying experience

In my life, whenever I have had an dramatic encounter with God or angels.. it is always accompanied by an amazing peace. This experience doesn't have that on it...in other words...it does not have the 'finger prints ' of God upon it. I'd say that attack was not God at all. Bless...

    Does Scripture Endorse Being Derisive?

NO! And when people I have challenge for their 'attitude' in posting, respond with the old stand by:- "Jesus did not pull and punches, he called them ... 1. Ye blind guides (Matt. 23:16). 2. Ye fools (Matt. 23:17). 3. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees…for ye are like whited...

AN OFT OVERLOOKED LESSON FROM JACOB'S LADDER

I am remembering the days when we hardly ever agreed with each other :D But now we agree more than disagree. Maybe it is just a case of understand better what the other person is saying.. I guess the answer here is..to the people who look on, it is a false doctrine..but to the ones that...

    CATHOLIC BASHING THREAD TITLES

My husband has always said , that when a preacher is well aware that he has no anointing upon his message...they always raise their voice even louder, emphasis and yelling louder ... somehow they believe that the more they yell the more anointed they 'appear.' :D They can fool some of the...

AN OFT OVERLOOKED LESSON FROM JACOB'S LADDER

...Agree... @Nancy Works are the fruit of love. The two commandments Jesus left are what produced 'good fruit=good works. Fruit baring comes naturally from Abiding in the Vine. If good works are anything but effortless then they are not 'good works' but our own.

    HOW TO SUFFER

Oh yes...I saw that one yesterday while on there. The little girl trying to help the statue of Jesus Carry the cross. :) Lovely picture. and well caught by the photographer. ( 'cept we know that in reality the prisoners destine for execution only carried the cross beams...the tall stakes...

How to Activate the Grace Within

For me...the answer would be - Because of the 'happy clappy' liberal church ministers...who lead a church..as a job of work for the pay check...just like the sons of Eli. ...leading their followers into the ditch.

    Why "LAW" =/= "OLD COVENANT"

Matt 18 Peter.. said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. (perfect sevens...infinity) 23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto ...

    Who sins?

...but... . . . . ~ Annie Johnson Flint's He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater, He sendeth more strength when the labors increase, To added affliction He addeth His mercy, To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace. His love has no limit, His grace has no measure, His power...

    Just fights, nothing but

But I do agree with you. I guess I have too many memories of real meeting where we would wait, know, and recognize the moving of the Holy Spirit. These days they don't even wait ..they just " pump up " the meeting with noise and lively singing and call it "God moving". Well they do in all...
