Seriously,? You really think I get all my information from Ellen White? It is blind head in sand behavior to suggest the emperors had no impact on the church and her beliefs. And it wasn't just Constantine, yes, he convened the council, and later persecuted the side he disliked. His sons did...

The Knights of Malta, an older and much more dangerous group than Columbus, are the military wing of the Catholic Church. All such groups however, however outwardly innocent and benevolent, are virulently anti Protestant and likely ask under the influence and authority of Jesuits, who are the...

The existence of two different counterfeits doesn't prove one or the other to be true.

My full post stated that we are to keep all the commandments by the letter of the law. It is of no use not lusting but sleeping with you best friend's cousin. Nor does it make sense to not get angry but act the part of a serial killer. The letter of the law kills only those who transgress it...

It kills those who obey the law?

The antideluvians and the residents of Sodom and Gomorrah all had the benefit of hearing warnings and all alike spurned them. Same as this generation. We've had prophecy warning of the impending second coming and the destruction that attends it, yet the vast majority of unbelievers scoff, the...

We've all seen them. Bumbling, hesitant, more gaffes than a fleet of trawlers. It's only a matter of time before he will be removed. But I suggest we're actually better off with him than the replacement, cackling cat camela.

No. But he is already sitting in the church... The corporate temple and has desecrated it. As for the abomination of desolation. The Jerusalem Christians were told, when you see it, run. And they did see it, and they ran, and not one Christian was killed in the destruction of Jerusalem on 70ad...

Fair enough. I find it fascinating though that non Sabbatarians can't agree why they don't keep the Sabbath. Some day you can keep any day if the 7. Others say that Sunday is now the Lord's day. , Others say every day is God's day. Others, like yourself, give it a spiritual rendering as if...

@APAK ... He got it cos he's kiwi.

2 Corinthians 3 is the critic’s go-to when they want to claim that the Ten Commandments have been abolished, but a closer examination of each text in question reveals a different story. Before speaking of what has been abolished, Paul actually establishes the Ten Commandments by revealing that...

A national representative Christian rugby player, renowned the world over for his tackling, was asked how he reconciles such ferocious tackling with his Christian ethos. He replied... It's better to give than receive. True story.

You know, there is so much wrong with your thinking, not only about what the church supposedly taught, but what motivates Adventists to keep the Sabbath. You may want to believe that we keep the Sabbath in order to be saved, because that would them give you an excuse for ignoring it yourself...

He was speaking of the church. The next verse says, KJV 1 Peter 2:10 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Unless you want to believe that Israel was not a people previous, but are now the people of...

Enoch. That was satire. I thought you knew me better than that.

You conspiracy theorists need to get a life. Next you'll be trying to convince us all that some shady people belonging to some ultra secret society are in cahoots with governments to take over the world and enforce some form of religious worship. Like anyone would fall for that one.

The real meaning of Protestant is pro-testimony. Pro scripture, which is why the Roman church fought so hard to destroy the Protestants. What would be the result if all of a sudden the world come to the realization that the scriptures are the foundation of truth faith and practice, and not the...

Your argument turns to custard in light of history. It wasn't the church that decided on the Nicean Creed. It was a pagan emperor.

That took place over 40 years ago. What I remember is that my wife had greater and more important and urgent need for my attention and devotion than any of the youth in the church. And though I wasn't spending more time with them than my wife, it was proportionately too much. We didn't know it...

There's actually an even more interesting nuance: Peter was saying this in context of the transfiguration, saying that even though he witnessed am incredible vision and heard the audible voice of the Father, the more sure word of prophecy is what ought to be the basis of faith, that is...
