No wonder you are a Jehovah's witness you can twist anything. 1. Hebrews 11 is mostly about faith. 2. Of course the Israelites / Jews mentioned are Old Testament.

LOL Not the Jews in the Old Testament.

No I do not. Actually I think it is several thousand years.....Hell is not in the Old Testament and again the neat thing about the truth is people can look it up.....Check and see if the Jews believe in Hell...You will find that they do not....no Hell and no devil. The Jews were not kept in...

Not true....but I am not a Jew.

We are talking about the Old Testament and the Jews....Not Christians. God did not offer Heaven as a reward to the Jews nor send any to hell.

I did not say they were kept in the dark. God did not threaten them with a fiery torment and did not torment them with a fiery torment....nor did He promise them heaven as a reward. If God blessed, them He did it during their life, if He punished them, He did it during their life. When they...

Does eternal punishment mean anything to you......how can you punish some one that is not there.

LOL Ya know that is the neat thing about truth, all they have to do is look it up and they know. Reading comprehension problem? How many ways did I say that Hell is not an Old Testament belief, the Jews do not believe in a devil or a hell....Strictly a New Testament belief and it is all over...

Ok again which verse. References to the Old Testament are irrelevant. I have already explained that.

Thrown into the lake of fire for eternal punishment. Look I gave you the guys the site with all the verses....eternal punishment is not about about death or oblivion....you cannot punish a corpse. It is referred to as eternal punishment over and over again. Death would be a blessing compared to...

which verse?

That would be a Jehovah's Witness doctrine of which there is no merit to it or to the religion as a whole.

Whatever that means.... The origin of the word Hell is in Germany. The origin of the concept of a fiery place of eternal torture is all through the New Testament...here it is again. What Does the Bible Say About Hell?

Old Testament references are not talking about a place of eternal punishment. If God blessed some one it was in this world and if He punished someone it was in this world

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day. Jude 1:6 Then shall he say also to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the...

What Does the Bible Say About Hell? Now look at all of these scriptures that pertain to a fiery place of torment but in some places it uses the word Hell. You can look it up, you will see that the word is actually the Greek word for hades or gehenna. The descriptions of this place are clear...

The word hell is not in the Bible, but don't be mistaken, a place of eternal fiery punishment is all over the New Testament.

No you are wrong....Satan and his Angels will endure eternal punishment in Hell.

You so funny! LOL I am telling you the truth.

I have already explained it. The word Hell is not in the Bible....for more than one reason. And it is never related to the grave. In the Old Testament Shoal can relate but it is not a place of punishment.
