Finally an interesting and legitimate topic! And Christ said, You must suffer and be poor and hate your mother and father to be my disciples. Any takers for that religion? For one thing you would not get married because spouses would hate each other by direction of Christ and you would have no...

Well you should probably reference the Bible. Did Christ and the Apostles give instruction on prayer? Alms...charity....Good Deeds, did Christ give instruction on that? Virtues and morals are not works they are what Christ expects of us and what pleases the Lord. The word suffer and its...

Again! For the thick in the head and evil in spirit! There is no such thing as works in Christianity! Obedience to Christ and Acts 2:38 is not works! Be good and do good is not works, it is just what Christ expects of Christians and what pleases the Lord. This topic is the favorite of those...

@Enoch111 said, Coveting is lusting after, having an unlawful desire It can include that but that is more of a desire to sin. Sexual desire is not a sin, just when it is inappropriate. Covid....want....like a lot! Got'ah be careful what you wish for! LOL The Bible says the love of money is...

In my opinion the Jehovah Witnesses are a life style of blasphemy, that can lead to Hell. But they do not entirely fit the definition of cult. But the professionals disagree with me. Professional interventionists say they are a cult. I think there is a few reasons for this.... 1. What happens...

Well removing God the Father's and God the Son's name from the Bible I consider a crime...a sin. The rest of it, I know of nothing that the Jehovah's Witnesses have corrected. They act like they know something but they really do not....except blasphemy.

No, Jehovah is due to the "J" slam. No J's in the Bible. Person, places, things that were Y's were changed to J's. Yeshua, Yahweh, Yob, Yoshua, Yacob, Yohn, Yames....Yerusalem, all Y's before the J slam. Some call it the great consonant shift.

They do not know the name of God the Father. They referred to Him by different names but none of them was Jehovah.

Look I am not going to play scripture toss with you. I am sure you either deny the scriptures or play cherry pick for the ones you like,

No the concept of the Trinity is true. The formula varies but the basic concept is true. Three Gods.

I do not place my confidence in the wisdom of men, I question everything, I definitely question the Council of Nicaea. The Bible proves the Deity of Christ and outlines the Trinity. It does not matter if it is the Gospels or the rest of the New Testament. You cannot fool me you know the...

They are not bound to anything! My gosh man there are witches that believe that Yeshua is a God even some Voodooists. The Jehovah's Witnesses are blasphemous! Blasphemy is not getting closer to the truth.

This I agree with you whole heartedly. I am very tolerant to other beliefs....probably more so than most. I fellowship with and attend church services with the Baptists, the Lutherans, the Pentecosts, the Catholics, the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, the Moravian Church and nearly a dozen...

Comparisons and Perspectives The words cult and heresy are usually used incorrectly. Still common usage but used outsider the parameters of their definitions and the definitions have changed. Get a hold of a 1950's dictionary and look the words up. Cult....for the most part must be physically...

They do not celebrate Christian holidays. Part of the problem is that the Jehovah's Witnesses are a late comers to Christianity.....established around the late 19th century. The other problem is that they do not teach history in Church....not even Christian history. The Apostles were Jews and...

The strange beliefs of the Jehovah's Witnesses. They do not believe in Hell. They do not believe that Yeshua is a God. They do not know the name of God the Father. They do not celebrate Christian holidays. They do not require a Christian Wedding ceremony. They have a strange view of the...

I all ready told you that the over all point of Hebrews 11 is faith and he was sighting Old Testament figures. I am almost scared to thing what you think it means. Figured you would not take on the truth. But your tail between your legs and move on.

Just the truth....is the truth not welcome on this thread? Or is it just dedicated to the lies of the Jehovah's Witnesses? Maybe you should rename it the the blasphemous heretics thread. Care to test me on anything I have said?

You mean there is no early outs for good behavior! How about Hell with a resurrection. Let them serve 10 years in screaming agony and every twenty years or so let a few come back and tell everyone what it is like.

I am waiting for the first one. Everyone knows you have to have faith. Duh! The Question is concerning Baptism.....Can you find a scripture that says.....God requires FAITH.....not water, to save you?
