Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

No, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. The Sabbath is a day. A day has no power to demand obedience, therefore there is no such thing as disobedience to the Sabbath. However, you may find it more difficult in justifying disobedience to God, and then claiming you are saved.

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

May I suggest an alternative focus may also be biblical. It is God's grace by which we stain to righteousness right? This righteousness is a gift, that we receive by faith. When we are born again, we are immediately changed. Our focus is totally redirected and our thinking becomes more in line...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

Oh, the Ten Commandments are absolutely God's standard, but you are right that in our own strength, we cannot hope to obey it. And yes, I totally agree with you that love is what we ought to be focused on. Yet where does that love come from, not us, but from God. KJV Romans 13:8-10 8 Owe no man...

Was Adam Imparted Free Will From The Beginning Of Creation?

Kermos would have us all believe that because Adam did not have free will, he was therefore following the will of God in bringing the entire human race into sin, rebellion, and condemnation. So God Himself instigated a rebellion against Himself and His laws, in order that He could condemn 90% of...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

I have an issue with this, for numerous reasons, but leave it for another time and place.

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

Okay, cool. I'll explain. The first Sabbath as we all know was instituted at creation, for, being the reason why, in six days the Lord created the heaven and earth and everything that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Now some say that that first seventh day was alone. That there is no...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

I agree. And no-one is judging when I say that , quote, The ten commandments... Is still an active and reliable and holy standard for righteousness.

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

Based I presume on KJV Romans 14:5-6 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

1.Disobedience to the ten commandments is still sin. 2. Unrepentant sinners are not saved sinners. 3. The ten commandments have never been cancelled. 4. The law of Christ doesn't contradict the law of God. 5. You know that murderers, thieves, liars, adulterers, covetous, idolaters...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

Thing is this. You all need to answer the question... Who's authority are you surrendered to? God has a day. It hasn't changed. God hasn't changed. Jesus said He didn't come to change the law. That so long as heaven and earth exist, the law will continue. Isaiah 66 reveals that the Sabbath will...

    The wonder of God

I have a story about owls. In NZ there is an age old tradition among Maori that if you see an owl in the daytime, it ain't good. I was out hunting with a mate when a morepork, known by Maori as Ruru, a small native owl, flew down and sat on a branch a few feet in front of us, and just looked at...

    The wonder of God

I came across an owl sitting on the gutter on my house a couple weeks ago. And stopped to check out another sitting in a road sign about a year ago.

    The wonder of God

Especially seeing it was half wild. He would cruise around rubbing himself on our legs, but refused to be picked up, and only slightly tolerated being stroked. But that baby, though he couldn't walk yet, could do what he liked and the cat just loved him to bits.

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

And where is the Commandment whereby you justify neglecting the Sabbath? You say that I am presenting man made opinion and an unholy offering to the Lord as did Nadab and Abihu, yet can you point out in scripture where the Sabbath was made an unholy thing? If you want to use that as an analogy...

Jesus Is Our Truth, Reward, And Faithfulness So We Can Lie, Steal, and Fornicate?

The only lineage Rome can lay claim to with any surety is to Justinian, the emperor who bestowed upon the bishop of Rome secular and ecclesiastical authority. "And the dragon (pagan Rome) have him his seat, power, and great authority".

    The wonder of God

When i was living in the NZ bush several years ago we had a big green moth called Puriri, that frequented our lounge window. Our cat... Well no, that's something of a lie... No cat is "ours", and this one on particular was its own master and had it's own mind... He would love chasing these moths...

    Where Is Heaven? Outer Space?

That was an added reason for keeping the day holy. The memorial significance wasn't replaced or removed because it remained inherent in the Commandment itself... For in six days the Lord made... Were you wanting to actually address anything in the post you quoted regarding types and shadows...
