No-one will be condemned for smoking or overeating. They will be condemned for not believing God's word that says murder is a sin. Although self murder as a result of addiction may be less egregious than the willful murder of another... Take note tobacco companies. PS unbelief in God's word is...

That's quite the imagination you have there. Absurd?? Really?? No precedence in calling the Sabbath the Lord's Day? KJV Exodus 20:10 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy...

Yet he circumcised Timothy.

I know this is a little old but many may have not seen it ...

God changed Seventh Day Sabbath Worship to First Day of the Week No, He didn't. KJV Daniel 7:25 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and...

In Genesis he God blessed one specific day, sanctifying it and making it holy. It is the same 7th day today as it was 6000 years ago. That day is still holy, still sanctified, and still blessed for sacred use. No other day is. Regardless our work requirements. We can change our work. We can't...

And you think the holy Spirit incapable of teaching one to obey by using what He wrote in scripture? No. I need a "thus sayeth the Lord" . It's that okay with you? Which was written by the finger of God... Transgression of which is sin... As opposed to the ceremonial laws which if one...

In all these discussions re the Sabbath there is a common thread. That common thread isn't what many would suppose, that all are in agreement as to why the Sabbath is now discarded by the majority of professing Christians. No, every man and his pet dragon has a different reason. The common...

But you can by simple obedience. It all friends upon who our what authority you choose to surrender to. If you observe Sunday, you observe and obey the Catholic Church. If you observe a "rest in Christ theme", which varies from church to church depending on your prospective, you are observing...

Jesus as the Son of God, is God, because like begets like. He is a separate personality, but has all the same divine attributes of the Father. Giving the Son of God the name of Michael in His pre-incarnate state as a Spirit in heaven, and occasionally appearing to men as an angel, does not mean...

Sort of like keeping the spirit of the 6th commandment which allows you to be a serial killer? So long as you don't get angry, therefore you can ignore the letter of the law? As Phoneman says below...we are to rest on Sabbath as God did. Questions: a. Where is the text that says God...

Oh my goodness!!!! Ellen White is the Antichrist!!! How could we all miss that???? You know, I honestly didn't think she looked that old, to be alive from Roman times all the way to the second coming...oh wait...the second coming has happened already???

You are wrong. Phoneman is totally correct. In Colossians 2:14 we are introduced into one aspect of the law, the “ordinances.” Now, is this the same as the law of Ten Commandments? Not according to the bible: Hebrews 9:1 (1) Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service...

Not wanting to lead you back into topics formerly abandoned, but over the years the incumbent Catholics on this forum have suggested similar regarding the corrections to Catholic doctrine and historical practice suggested by Protestants. After the millions murdered by Rome, the wars instigated...

Your entire spiel is based on a misquote. And you claim you are rational? I didn't once say there was no change in the law regarding the priesthood... There had to be a change to accommodate a different kind of priest... One that was eternal and not mortal. Second, I said the main change was...

Ummm, I don't pick up sticks on Sabbath. But if I did, would you be the first to cast a stone?

Indeed it is a well known forgery. Vicarius Filii Dei was also enshrined in the Decretum Gratiani (Gratian’s Decretum), which first appeared in 1140 and became the basis for teaching Catholic canon law. Included in it, not by the original author but by his successors, was the...

Yes there is, KJV Genesis 1:27 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Now it will be interesting to see you argue that God doesn't have free will.

What did Jesus say when His accusers were attacking Him for breaking the Sabbath when healing someone? It is lawful to do well on the Sabbath. I don't do my own dishes. But I'll do someone else's dishes of they let when visiting. And if you're using someone else's facilities, then you clean up...

KJV Hebrews 8:1-5 1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. 3 For every high...
