22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Nonsense. BTW, do you believe in the deity of Christ? Time to stop avoiding.

2 Peter 3:10 The Big Whoosh

Zechariah 9:9-10 predicted: “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass … and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion...

2 Peter 3:10 The Big Whoosh

Hello! Neither Psalms 2:7-9 Matthew 9:27, Acts 1:11 and Hebrews 9:28 make reference to some imaginary future millennium. You force that into the text. They are talking about the here-and-now. They are talking about the Gentiles embracing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3:10 The Big Whoosh

Can you address my post instead of outlining your theology?

Yes! I totally agree. Good thought!

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

OK, if all of the righteous are glorified at the second coming, and all the wicked are destroyed, who is this imaginary third group that you invent that overrun your future millennium?

2 Peter 3:10 The Big Whoosh

This is a Premil trait, you reference Old Testament passages that do not say what you say they do as if they do. To quote them in full and highlight the inspired detail would be to expose your whole thesis.

2 Peter 3:10 The Big Whoosh

Where does it say Jesus is on earth there? Nowhere! As per normal: you force your beliefs into the sacred text. Adding unto Scripture may be a Premil trait, but it is forbidden by Scripture.

Calculating the Rapture? 7 Factors to Consider

Is the word parousia used for His next coming? Is the word parousia used for His coming after your 7-year trib?

2 Peter 3:10 The Big Whoosh

Zechariah 14:9: “And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.” The Hebrew word translated “over” here is ‛al, meaning: above, over (of elevation or pre-eminence). There is no suggestion here of an earthly reign of Christ after the second...

    Another Premillennial absurdity

Stop always playing the emotional victim and address the issues. This is a Bible discussion forum. We are not psychological counselors.

2 Peter 3:10 The Big Whoosh

First of all, Zechariah 14 makes absolutely no allusion to a future 1,000 years after the second coming, or does Zechariah 14 compare with any of the detail outlined in Revelation 20 (start, middle or finish). The detail occurring at the end of Revelation 20 only compares with the many passages...

22 major reasons to abandon the Premil doctrine

Where in Daniel 9:24 and Revelation 20 teaches "there will be no sin ... post the Second Coming"?

    Another Premillennial absurdity

Once more: Where in Scripture does it teach: when Jesus comes “those who have not yet made up their minds will enter into the new age, and have opportunity after Christ returns to accept the dictates of his Kingdom"?

    Another Premillennial absurdity

How often you describe yourself, when attacking others. Not interested with the paraphernalia, with the extracurricular comments.

    Another Premillennial absurdity

Yah-dee-dah-dee-dah. Edification like this? Thankfully you are not God. You are doing the work of the accuser of the brethren.

    Another Premillennial absurdity

Of course you are not. The rest of us are interested in scriptural truth. That is why we post. You have no answer to simple questions like this because you make it up as you go.

This Makes More Sense To Me Now

Read the text: "the time of the dead, that they should be judged." This is talking about judgment day.
