James 2:21, notice closely that James does not say that Abraham's work of offering up Isaac resulted in God accounting Abraham as righteous. The accounting of Abraham's faith as righteousness was made in Genesis 15:6, many years before his work of offering up Isaac recorded in Genesis 22. The...

The Lessons of Czechoslovakia How Voting For Socialism Caused Czechoslovakia 40 Years Of Misery

We are at a crossroad in America. We can either seek God's will in solving our issues in America or listen to Satan and continue to fuel the fire of hatred and division and push for more civil unrest or even a civil war! The latter will have dire consequences! I choose to seek God's will for...

More fuel for the fire. :( Biden: 'Terrorism from White Supremacy' the Most Lethal Threat to U.S.

Now this is disturbing! Liberal politicians have heavily exploited racism during this past election for their own political agenda and now it's gotten out of control! Constantly fueling the fire of racism, defunding the police and the collapse of morality in America in general is only...

Amen! We are saved FOR good works and not by good works. (Ephesians 2:8-10) It is through faith "in Christ alone" (and not based on the merits of our works) that we are justified on account of Christ (Romans 3:24; 5:1; 5:9); yet the faith that justifies does not remain alone (unfruitful, barren)...

LOL! :D

Biden: China thinks it will 'own America' by 2035

Your argument comes straight out of the Roman Catholic church. Saved by "these" works (good works not of the law) and just not "those" works (specific works of the law) which is a bogus argument that still results in "works righteousness." Paul does not merely limit works to specific works of...

Exactly, what you practice and not sinless perfection.

You still did not answer my question. Are you implying that means sinless, perfect obedience to all of God’s Commandments 100% of the time? Do you teach sinless perfection?

Are you implying that you perfectly obey all of God‘s Commandments 100% of the time? Strong's Greek: 5083. τηρέω (téreó) -- to watch over, to guard

If we love Him yes we will “keep” (Greek word - “tereo”) guard, observe, watch over His commandments. which is the demonstrative evidence that we love and know the Lord. 1 John 2:3 - By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to...

Romans 8:30 - Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. *ALL of them. *Notice how Paul uses the past tense for a future event to stress it's certainty.

I've heard that democracies eventually degenerate into totalitarianism and America seems to be heading in that direction.

John 17:3 - And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent (which is an intimate, experiential knowledge, found only in a relationship). The term "know" implies intimate, experiential knowledge, through a relationship with Him and not...

It's not hard to find trolls, agitators and spiritual narcissists on Christian forum sites who are only interested in drawing attention to themselves and stirring up strife.

In the eyes of God, only true children of God (believers) produce the fruit of the Spirit and have done anything good, hence those who have done good. In regards to unbelievers, their hearts are not right with God, so any external attempts at doing good (apart from the righteousness of God which...

Another perfect example of confusing a 'descriptive' passage of scripture with a 'prescriptive' passage of scripture. In regards to John 5:26-29, the good deeds of the redeemed (those who have done good) are not the basis or means by which they obtain salvation, but is the evidence of it. A...
