Agree, but how does anyone change their minds? Those that believe and preach " Kingdom one day"...live a powerless life.. We know that it is "Kingdom Now". "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt...

Great and interesting thread. :D You have a knack of starting good interesting threads. . . . . .

This spring I found myself praising God for dandelions!! Next door has a lawn full. The field across the road is full of them.... But I dare not complain ....after 7 months of snow and whiteness ...I told myself that this year I wouldn't curse them, but praise the Lord for them. :D...

Well I saw 3am too. :( I managed to get three hours. Praise God for iPads in the middle of the night!! :)

I feel it is a worse 'slap' than pride. Pride is something we may have without even knowing it ,unless someone points it out to us or the Himself Lord pricks our bubble...Ha! What we know about God or His word is real...but we may speak it with pride..or self-righteously. :oops: ( something God...

Well sometimes the Enemy uses someone to doubt ourself too. And cause us to ‘over-think” a thing. I have to admit that if someone commented something like that to me...I would take a pause...check the heart and the spirit in which I posted...and if my conscience still witnessed, then I would not...

Amen....I agree with all your points here. I probably worded my posts badly....you said well, and well balance . As you say, it doesn’t have to be “either / or” but all of the concepts mentioned. Overbalanced always leaves us lopsided. :)

Excellent...What a wonderful “picture” you painted here...well done! Love it. ❤️ Praise the Lord!!

@Heart2Soul Thank you for the link to this thread on my profile page , I was not aware of it at all!! So thank you. :) I wish others would do that too. This one did not hit my radar on my ALERT'S ...I am sure I miss many threads because of that. /Hmmm now if I could block 8 certain...

I listened a little bit, but unlike you...I couldn't read and type and listen! Maybe an age thing :D I liked what I heard, so I have bookmarked it on Youtube for later. Wull listen with my hubby this evening ...thanks.

Amen. I enjoyed reading that! And yes agree...we are lifted out of the realm we are in , into another real, unknown to us before.

Thank you @Stranger and @Josho I can't disagree with either of your posts. Appreciate the wisdom. :)

Agree, I was very moving!!

Great day here...a bit windy, but the sun was nice. :) No complaints from here!! Ha!

It was very interesting.

@ScottA . . . .

Yes, you nailed it here. That is what I was trying to say in post # 39 about being behind the Iron or Bamboo curtain...only then did they see that they who followed Jesus were on the SAME side. ( doctrine at that point did not matter) They had one common enemy out to destroy any Christian...

As you say.."interesting article" It looks like the kind of heading that our old friend @bbyrd009 would use to grab our attention. :D I liked this it caused me to THINK!! <snippet> "I’m excited the North American church is dying. Christians not having the influence we once had in the 1900s...

@bbyrd009 A good and interesting thread that you have going here. :)

Excellent and wise ( as usual :) ) I agree. If God gave us man to rule over us and have the final word. Then WHY did He send the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us?? This is what I am seeing wrong with the churches ...a man has usurped the position of God's leadership via the Holy Spirit. At...
