@Pearl God with regard to the integrity of Job: "And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst...

Give God the glory sister!

Tears of Joy!

Are you then the voice or the church or are you an apostle? On first duty, what then would you say about this? "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Matt 6:33 If we fail then to make these things first, what will the rest...

Why would you spread something like that as if it should be seriously considered. There are devils indeed, but let them spread their own stories. I do not believe that you are a devil... "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day...

"For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." Gal 3:27

But then again whichever Bible a person decides to and actually does use, is only as good as that which the Holy Spirit writes in his heart... right? I used to translate a lot of documents [German, Spanish, English], so I know a little about the problems of translators and the caution or trust...

I did not like the word, "gamble" so for me the "other" as I see it, fits better. Thanks for your concern. When they drew lots in the OT to receive God's input, it was Not a gamble. It was the way He showed them His will in the matter. What is God's will for us? Even if we do not know it for a...

No vote yet, but I have been vaccinated. My wife too, in spite of her severely compromised immune system, was finally vaccinated after consultation for her with three medical doctors we know and trust. I guess I'll have to go with "other"...

When I was young I went on all of the fast rides, roller coasters and such at the amusement parks. When our two children were old enough to go the park with us we would go and ride them together. A time came on one of those park visits that riding a a tilt-a-whirl, fast spinning ride, made me...

What a merciful God we have providing what we need when we need it! Are we not undeserving?

Oh so sorry, I sold mine [truly]. If I had known I would have held onto it.

I had a friend who during all of the years I knew him very much of the time lived by faith in God. God did work wonders, even miracles by almost any standard, in his life and the lives of his wife and children as a result of him stepping out in faith... But... he would sometimes makes...

Wow! I never did any of that. In my mind it sounds like something I would have enjoyed but now so long ago and far away... huh?

Smaller than a silver dollar. That was the minimal size limit of blisters on feet in Army basic training when we took a 26 mile hike with loaded packs and rifles before being allowed to drop out of the hike. It says something for the training we had received that only about 2 from our company...

This foto reminds me of an experience on a mountain pathway in Mexico when I was there as a student not long before I met my wife. A young Mexican engineer took me and a Chilena student from Santiago for a hike up that mountain. The girl was younger than me and seemed generally healthy but I...

Isn't that cheating?

@April_Rose @Ziggy @APAK The pictures and fishing thoughts and first aid kits bring back other memories. I was never an enthusiastic fisherman but I went fishing quite a bit in my youth. My last fishing tale is from without doubt when we were quite a bit younger. My wife and I went fishing...
