The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

    That's the idea.... :)

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

Jesus says that we bear fruit as we BOTH abide in Him AND He in us. We need to go after both. Only then will we have the right attitude. Only then will we be able to understand what is the depth of Jesus Christ. You can get to know a person as they visit you where you are. But how much better...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

Thank you for the encouragement. I often decline from posting things that seem difficult to explain and even to grasp...based on how they are hidden in the Hebrew scriptures. Sometimes it is difficult to convey these types of treasures. But I'm glad that some here can appreciate these things...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

God is Spirit. He visits us here but He dwells in heavenly habitations. The point of the gospel is that God is taking visitors WHERE He lives. I love where the disciples asked Jesus...where do you live? Jesus replied....come and see! :)

It is both. Taking one away from the other is to speak a half-truth. Only the 2 combined is the truth.

2 Cor. 3:16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

If that is possible then why not walking with the Lord in Zion, the heavenly city? Is this not what it means to "walk in the Spirit"? This is the true meaning of rapture and translation.

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

Being born of the Spirit is to be born in Zion...the new Jerusalem (the mother (birthing) of us all). This psalm is what Jesus was referring to when He told Nicodemus that he must be born again (from Zion) from above. Ps 87:1 His foundation is in the holy mountains. 2 The Lord loveth the...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

But God is Spirit and He abides in the Jerusalem which is above...which is the mother of all who are born from above. We are reconciled to the living God in THAT place through faith into (and through) Christ.

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

God has chosen Zion as His abode. Ps. 68:16 Why do you look with envy, O rugged mountains, at Mount Zion, where God has chosen to live, where the LORD himself will live forever? Ps. 76:2 His tabernacle is in Salem; His dwelling place also is in Zion. Ps. 132:13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion...

Yes absolutely. His reward is Himself. :)

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

There is a trend in todays teachings that would minimize the depths of Christ so as not to seem to leave anybody out. But this trend has hurt the church and it's potential for growth and power in a decisive way. We need to start thinking as a body. We need the gifts in the body...even if it...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

Amen...He makes His abode in us. But we also can make our abode in Him. That is what this thread is about. Jesus as the doorway into the heavenly realm.

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

But the mystery goes deeper here. Through Him we have access to the very throne of God. We can walk in His perfection. Whether or not that will be realized by each one of us in our lifetime is not the issue. We should see this as a body thing whereby the brethren bring treasures from heaven...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

Jesus Christ Himself is the transporter to the Father and HIS realm in the Spirit. Col. 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Being a mediator is like a transporter in the Star Trek stories. In Christ we go to where God...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

I think we need to make a big distinction between the natural fear we have for an eternal God and His wrath. Fear takes place when the natural meets the supernatural. So it is acceptable and natural that we fear. It is actually wise to do so.

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

Hey Mark! It could be either. My point is that the actual way of translating the Hebrew "BO" is literally...In Him. The bible has many such double meanings....and Christ is there if one reads the word carefully. Yes! But that sheepfold is in Zion....where there is the possibility of fellowship...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

God is looking for they who worship Him in Spirit and truth. Jesus is the spiritual doorway into fellowship with God...in Zion. The power that is IN Jesus takes us (translates us) to be in God's presence in Zion. Then we walk IN the Spirit.

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

The word for "dreadful" is just fearful...meaning the true presence of God. A fearful presence doesn't mean condemnation. This regards the nature of the presence of God.....it's not about us. Remember when the disciples were fearful in the storm on the sea? When they saw Jesus walking on the...

The Gate of Heaven שַׁעַר הַשָּׁמָיִם

This is going to be an in depth study about the identity of Jesus Christ.....as per both testaments. I will be drawing a parallel between Gen. 28 and John 1 Jacob's ladder... Gen. 28:12 And he (Jacob) dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and...
