How's the situation now?

Another question about smartphones. The one I bought has a fingerprint scanner on the back to unlock the phone. Is it necessary to use that? Because in an emergency my elderly, disabled mother might need to use the phone. I wouldn't want her to be locked out of the phone.

Kind people all over the world....these rescuers are in Morocco. They met this mama cat and kittens the other day. Upon going back, they found they needed to get the cats away from there. Sweet story.

When I first plug it in, a large battery icon appears on the tablet screen for several seconds. After awhile the plug gets hot. As it charges more and more the plug gets only warm. Then finally it gets cold when charged. I usually pull out the plug and replug it to check. Then the...

Thanks Dev. I will read the little manual but thought I would ask for input. My tablet can be off while charging.

Maybe that's how they got the idea for Sharknado movies! Can you imagine getting hit in the head with a frog or fish? Well, that's better than a shark!

He isn't saying he doesn't follow the Lord. He signs off with "In His love, and a fellow follower" and "A fellow believer,". His username just means he realizes Christ in him is what matters....he doesn't matter. We all choose different usernames for various reasons. Now me...I didn't know...

I'm getting my first cellphone, will arrive in a few days. It's a Motorola Moto Play G 2023 (sale $99). Consumer Cellular said to phone them when it arrives so they can help me set it up. I think I have to charge it on arrival. A YouTube video said to charge it while the phone is on. Is...

Earlier today I signed up for Consumer Cellular. Got a smartphone for $99 on sale. Once it arrives I call them and they help me to set it up. Then I will cancel AT&T! Actually U.S. Mobile has some wonderful prices, $6 including taxes for their Lite Plan. But doing everything over the...

I saw they even have $6 a month plans. I was trying to buy the cellphone from them right now. For some reason the computer put my email address in the name spot. Then it left off my apartment number. Finally it put the zip code in the wrong spot! So I didn't place my order after...

I checked YouTube and someone was reviewing the lesser known cell providers. He recommended U.S. Mobile. I talked with U.S. Mobile customer service. He said since I just want to talk on the phone, he recommended their $10 a month plan. That includes taxes! (The taxes alone at AT&T were...

Three fur farm foxes get a lovely new home at a sanctuary in Florida. Towards the end of the video they are enjoying running in their new large enclosure. @dev553344 @TLHKAJ

I don't have cable. If I go into a Mint store, can I handle everything right there in the store? I might not always have WiFi so don't do business over Internet.

I don't have a router. My neighbor is nice and let's me use his wifi for a small amount each month. Rents are very high here so I budget.

Now I'm even more confused. Maybe I do need a company like Consumer Cellular which has customer service that can help clueless 73 year olds like me! I don't even know how to activate a cell phone. Maybe if you buy Consumer Cellular in Target, maybe they activate it for you? About throwaway...

Yes, there are a lot of providers. But I'm pretty clueless about cell phones.

I don't have a cell phone. I have a landline with AT&T....but AT&T is trying to get permission to dump landlines in my area. I don't even know what data refers to. I just want to use a phone to call for doctor appointments and sometimes talk to people. Since I'm in Los Angeles, I guess...

After reading the reviews I'm getting a little confused about what way to go. I really only want to talk on the phone sometimes.... I'm not a phone person. I would like cheap phone. Maybe a throwaway phone and buying minutes is best?? I don't want to spend $800 on a phone. Also, do you...

I use my neighbor's wifi so I cannot do anything like that. Not tech savvy either. So if AT & T gets permission to dump landlines here, I'll go with some cell phone. I guess Consumer Cellular just uses the cell towers of AT & T and T-Mobile. As long as AT&T doesn't own Consumer Cellular I'm...

Oh, so he's family. That makes a difference. Maybe you could ask him to phone before he comes over? That way, if your husband isn't home, perhaps you could suggest another time.
