Known to those with eyes to see... but many have poor vision or are blind! Who among us already is past seeing through a glass darkly always and now is always seeing 'face to face'?

Be careful with that! It is one of those ATs [Absolute Truths] which may only be what you believe rather than what you really know.

I won't declare it precisely here, but I have personally had the kind of experience you mention having seen in others. For me it is my testimony and do not offer up for people who are supposed to be believers to criticize. We are all supposed to be growing as even Jesus grew, but some people it...

Even if every word you have written here is true, how do you personally know enough to finally judge anyone else's walk with God to enable you to say without doubt that his faith is, or is not, genuine? Does God work exactly the same way in every person? Is every person in exactly the same you...

Do you know the answer to your own question about anyone else? Are you God knowing the minds and hearts of each other person? If you are not and you do not why do you insist that you are right and they who disagree with you are wrong? Following the Lord according to your heart, but without...

"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent" John 17:3 When we know the only true God and His Son that is eternal life, but what is the first step to such knowledge? Consider this: "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of...

Remember that we all started out naked. In Eden before the disobedience it caused no trouble, but then when they were put out of the garden they noticed and prepared their own coverings of fig leaves. It was going to take more than that. But then as you indicate there are spiritual...

@Mayflower @Hidden In Him When it comes right down to it... all alone we cannot change or replace our own heart with a heart for God. Jesus opened up the closed Door, but it seems obvious to me that not many of all the multitudes have really walked through it. The power of the Holy Ghost is...

Amen!

Hmmm?

Give God the glory!

I do hear you loud and clear. There are too many conspiracies on all sides [often more than two] for anyone to understand which if any of them are correct. In God alone may we always trust! I really hate to see my own children, grandchildren and great grandchildren have to wade through the...

I would say it is only a salvation issue for some people. Who really understands the nature of God as well as that? It is because so many cannot even begin to fathom what is involved that so many simply follow what someone they respect has said about it. I cannot believe God will not accept a...

The new wine is the Holy Ghost! "John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:" Luke 3:16 The Holy Ghost leads us and brings...

Consider what happened to John the Baptist's head and why... He had the wrong head so it was time for him to decrease and for his new Head to increase! Consider also these verses" "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the...

I don't believe there are any here who directly and purposely reject the Bible, although it is certainly possible [likely?] that some by their treatment of certain parts of scripture may be effectively rejecting things important to their own walk with God. This could of course involve delusion...

Yes, this is also what I have understood. They both lived cultures dominated by men and where the youngest men had little authority. They were examples for us today, but us to make a proper connection to ourselves and our situations an understanding of where each of them was according to the...

How important do you believe having the correct theological answers is according to scripture is to God? Do you not believe there are people who really do love God without knowing all of the best answers to questions someone like yourself might ask? Will the winner of debate about God and the...

I hope that 'my agenda' is always equal to God's agenda for me. As to debate, this is a Bible Study forum rather than a debate forum even though I know that people are not always careful to make that distinction. I am not creating excuses, but rather saying what I see and believe, which...
