I wanted to be a forest ranger. But I had no education in borany, forest management or any other related subjects... Started work in a bank. Hated it. Then clerk for an oil company. Then factory worker. Back to oil company as storeman. Then bus driver. All the above over a period of about 15...

There's a simpler way. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. That teaches that black lives matter. Have no respect of persons. That teaches that you favor no-one above anyone else. KJV Matthew 7:1 1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Do not think yourself better than other men...

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1 Interesting is the way the New English Bible renders this verse. It says “When all things began, the word already was. The word dwelt with God and what God...

Please forgive me however if I sound to anyone reading this that I am being adamant and deterministic in this perspective... Like everyone else on this thread, I read scripture and take from it my understanding in accordance to conscience. I'm always open to anyone who can teach me from...

Like all JWs, you misunderstand some truths and misapply them. You correctly see that the Son was subject to the Father in all things. You correctly see that the Son was given all authority, and that the Son was limited in His understanding of future events... Unable on His own to work...

I agree with everything you said up to this point... Throughout creation like begets like. Cows beget cows. Dolphins beget dolphins. Flies beget flies. Mosquitoes beget mosquitoes. Tigers beget tigers. However, there are certain tricks one can play to make a different animal...a lion mated with...

I cannot help but wonder with astonishment at your determination to put God in the worst light. All the scriptures you use to support a supposed eternal torment have been explained to you in another perspective... In another context which you refuse to acknowledge. Why is that? Why the...

Helps to exacerbate the so called crisis when they start arresting the maskless. Arresting the protesters. Shutting down the naysayers. Closing down opposition news outlets..web sites... Distorting statistics... Spending millions on advertising and propaganda.

Catholic apologists will always deny the Peshita. It destroys their invention that they were responsible for the Bible.

There's Protestant, then there's Protestant.

While I agree that that time must have been incredibly stressing, I don't think He at that time felt hopeless... What He dreaded I believe was the impending separation from His Father that He knew was inevitable as the sin of the world was laid upon Him. Never before had they been apart... For...

I think you need to take a little more care in your determination to prove yourself right. In your desperation to prove to are right, you are bordering on making some statements that could prove embarrassing and fatal to your faith. Remember, you are treading on holy ground when speaking of the...

Yes, precisely. But imagine what it cost the Father as He had to deliberately step away from His Son.. No comfort... No loving encouragement... Jesus died utterly and completely alone. The Father would have suffered greatly experiencing such pain we cannot imagine, holding back that which was in...

In our Father's love we trust. We are all loved more than any of us could possibly imagine. Becky is no exception. Father, may your name be praised, honored, and glorified throughout this harrowing ordeal. May your grace and mercy be extended to that young woman, and to all that are caring for...

I have... And can't. If you get my drift. Did it dawn on Him slowly, or did it come as a revelation overnight? Yet there must have been a moment when the realization became settled and He said to himself... My dad is the King of the universe! In the wilderness Satan tried to convince Him...

Exactly. Well said. The pre-existent Son of God laid aside all His Divine attributes and became as one of His own creations. He took upon Himself the seed of Abraham. With all the limitations and weaknesses of human flesh. He did not live according to His pre-existent knowledge. He did not bring...

Who is Jesus? Jesus asked the same question I would suggest the moment He realized He was different from His brothers. Different from His neighbors. He didn't join in their bullying of those less privileged. He didn't speak cruelly to those who abused Him. He didn't get angry when things didn't...
