Amen, our victory is by entering into the life that Jesus died to give us...by faith.

A foolish judgment of a good brother. Your ego is inflating itself so that you are being offensive to the ones who you purport to inspire with a superior knowledge of God....which of course is self-driven. I'm sure you are fooling no one here but yourself. We see these types all the time. You...

So you are going to leave?

Actually, the Lord is giving you that verse. But it is far easier to project a correction on others than to receive it for yourself. Maybe you should indeed stop puffing yourself up on the forum as some kind of expert and humble yourself. A novice in the faith tends to take himself too...

There is an assurance of salvation for all who are faithful to Christ till the end. But the flesh wants some kind of guarantee that it can do as it pleases and get away with it. A person of faith will reject this notion for what it is....the carnal mind expressing it's own desire to save itself.

Welcome here HunterB. :)

Yet the understanding of what the guitar can sound like varies greatly. There are novices and virtuosos...and everything in between. The same goes for the bible. It is an instrument. It takes revelation and understanding to plumb it's depths. And just like a musical instrument...it takes a lot...

Saved means not sent to the lake of fire. But in a great house there are vessels for honour AND vessels of dishonour. Many will live in eternity in a place of dishonour. These are they for whom Jude says...are reserved for the blackness of darkness forever. There are many references to this...

Likewise except it's been 28 years or so. And the Lord called us out!

How do you account for 2 different people buying the same kind of guitar....yet not playing the same.

The B I B L E...that's the book for me. With a little help from the Author of that book. It does go beyond sunday school a little. But it's all there from Genesis to Revelation. For instance...how many rivers come out of Eden in Gen. 2? Do you understand their significance? How many paths can...

The unjust are the wicked. The filthy are they who are cast into outer darkness. They are |God's people...but they can't stop soiling their garments. Like perpetual baby Christians...who are carnal till the end.

Just as there were 3 men (and their wives) who populated the Earth after the flood...so there will be 3 kinds of people in the next age who will populate the world. The saints the righteous the filthy The wicked will have been killed in the lake of fire which is the second death. Check out...

The confusion comes from a false comparison of heaven and hell. It is heaven and earth. Hell is one of 4 possible outcomes...and is for the wicked. Who is determining what is good? Not everyone who is saved is a saint. The saints will rule over the righteous in the next age. Who populates the...

We are to walk in a worthy manner ALL the time. We are to walk by the power of the Spirit. I understand your concern for those who are not taking bible prophecy seriously enough. But these are not taking any part of the bible seriously enough. A person can die at any time. We are to always be...

So then in your opinion only 10% of Christians believe in the word? You have not answered the question and are already being defensive about something you yourself posted. What is your issue? No need to be dysfunctional. What are people not doing that you see as important? Try not being...

What do you think constitutes preparation for the end times?

In a real sense all Christians who are alive in the Spirit are prophets of the coming of Christ...both in the spiritual sense AND in the coming parousia. To deny this is to remove the truth of the incarnation in regards to God's people.

I think this is confusing faith and boldness. Faith moves mountains...and God. Boldness is unafraid of men. Some people are naturally bold. But nobody can do what faith can do. By faith we enter into the presence of God in the Spirit. If we only had THAT kind of faith.
