Mark, I am talking about mature Christians functioning as the body of Christ should. So no, " the next guy" ( unless he also has the gift of interpretation...)..knows nothing, and gets nothing in the Spirit from the tongue being uttered. That is why Paul said..."if no interpreter of tongues...

@Willie T As I see it...we are told in the NT to keep the laws of the land. Which we do, we obey the rules. We pay our taxes. That said...I do not believe that there are ANY laws that apply to the Believer ..except...LOVE . As I said earlier...anyone who loves...does not do harm or hurt...
