From what I can tell from what you said is that do not trust the work of men in the past to translate accurate scriptures. And the Textus Receptus has never been known for its accuracy......more political than anything....a personal project?

Care to count the fantasies? That there is a translation of the Bible that God signed off on. There are translations much more accurate than the JKV.....but God did not sign off on any of them. The religious reverence of any object is idolatry. You believe in a Bible....try believing in Christ...

Well your main problem is trusting the KJV to be accurate to the scriptures. I have been pointing out the things that have been added to the newer manuscripts .... your example proves that. Without cause is not in the scriptures....

Do I care what Hort and Westcott believed? I have already explained this...."Bible only" you should be at least be looking for the most accurate manuscripts. If not why not take up the new age beliefs ..... because more recent is better! It is not impossible that one of these days they will...

You are right Jim B, Technically, "the Word of God" came out of God's mouth. Old and New Testament is the physical act of men documenting it. Ink to the parchment.... Various translations have "translated" that. The translation process in the 1600's and older were looking at newer manuscripts...

There is plenty of information in the scriptures that will lead to dates that can be anchored in time . As far as correct interpretation of the scriptures.....I read from the manuscripts and these scriptures are pretty simple. This was all explained in detail in posts 123 and 124. The Bible...
