What laws?

Let us put this in perspective. Christian churches generally condemn Adventists for observing Sabbath. They will claim to honor the other nine commandments, but reject Sabbath keeping. How tightly based to the Bible is the concept of rejection of the 4th Commandment when the other 9 are upheld?

At what point do you stop running?

You tell me what law James is quoting here. And he calls it a royal law...a law of liberty. Paul speaks of a law of bondage. So you figure it out. Instead of trying to trap me, study the scriptures for yourself like you said. KJV James 2:8-12 8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the...

Straw man. Stop putting words in my mouth. I didn't say the church required such activity for forgiveness of sin. I said Catholics were taught that such activity contributed to the purging of sin. Just as doing penance after confession and earning credits for those in purgatory through...

No. However, as a personal choice, for health reasons, I have opted to not eat unclean meats. I do not believe such meats were every intended by God to be a part of the human diet. Science confirms that those meats, (not to be confused with food) are poisonous and depending on what we are...

I may have mentioned this to you before, but when you claim the church is the pillar and foundation of truth (and yes, it's biblical) that is entirely conditional on the church not straying from the source of Truth. The church isn't the source. It's a vessel...a conduit that must at one end...

Wouldn't it be great? We could all get vaccinated with stuff from different countries and be multi lingual in days. And yes... That was not my original post.

I think it's great that we are now all being made aware that hypocrisy of still alive and well on planet earth.

It's interesting. You twist and turn like an eel clutching into a piece of flax. Or am I missing something you are not saying? If you @BreadOfLife had spoken the above words at Luther's trial you would have been thrown out on your ear with Luther. It was while Luther was in his knees climbing...

The decalogue. The specific hand/finger written Commandments summarised in Leviticus and Deuteronomy in "thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and soul, mind, and body, and thy neighbor as thyself". In these two Commandments (which incorporate the ten) hang all the law and the...

Remember. Babylon is fallen, is fallen. Fallen from what? And we aren't taking about the original city here. This is spiritual Babylon. From weekend had this mother of harlots fallen? Is it not from a once faithful state of marriage, but is now unfaithful... Divorced... Apostate?

In prophecy a woman represents the church. A harlot... An unfaithful church. Did not Israel commit adultery against the Lord? How did they do that? KJV James 4:4 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a...

What Commandments of God do you think the devil would be so enraged over that he would make war with this people because of it?

Keeping the Commandments of God refers to The Commandments of God. And all relevant parts of ... KJV John 1:45 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Are not the Jesuits a military order? Do they not have a general? Is not that general the real power behind the Vatican,? Were not the Jesuits the ones to whom were given the task of destroying Protestantism whether they found it? Were not the Jesuits the ones many american presidents feared...

KJV Revelation 12:17 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Why would the dragon bypass the rest of the sinful world to wage war against a remnant who are keeping...

I did the exact same thing in the NZ election last year. An independent. And the last time I voted, or was even in the rolls, was in the 1980s.
