Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

Hey G, there's not much to say. Seems like you have a good grip on everything that's going on. Germany's economy isn't as good as it used to be, but yes, they are the ones winning the game. France is complaining now too but I don't understand enough of what's going on there. As to your last...

Who asked YOU? I'm not even reading the above. GET A LIFE.

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

You're a nice person PJ. I'll just say this: I agree with your answers except for no. 2 And I didn't say I didn't teach how to forgive a neighbor, or why... I said I WAS NEVER TAUGHT IT by the CC. (as a normal parishioner)

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

I'm sure you didn't hit any of @Giuliano 's nerves. We all just get tired of you. And what a terrible comment to make. You should read your bible and try to learn what Jesus taught.

Teresa of Avila and Watering the Garden

I couldn't write before...I wanted to make two comments regarding the above. One.... I learn from men...I have no problem with this and am sometimes scolded because I should be listening to the Holy Spirit...as if those who teach do not have the Holy Spirit dwelling and neither the ones...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

You want me to name burdens? 1. If I miss church I'm going to hell. 2. Saved-Lost-Saved-Lost ..... no security AT ALL (and I don't believe in eternal security). 3. Trying to understand the difference between a venial sin and a mortal sin. Can a venial sin become a mortal sin? 4...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

I don't know about this German Synod. I tend to not go by the news but by what I can learn directly from the church since I do have access as to what's going on....but not as much as I used to. Personally, I'm worried about the permanent synod Francis wants to assemble. Time will tell, but I...

Is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

It seems to me that the liberal catholics are with Francis...and the conservative catholics are against him. There is already a schism...and as I've been saying for a few years now...we'll see who gets to stay and who has to leave. I think the Pope will get to stay. As to the magesterium,,,if...

When, where, or how was free will taken away?

Dear Atpollard,,,, YOURS are also opinions. I exegeted Romans 8:28 for you (maybe it was Mj) but we could exegete all day long and it won't do any good because we are each set in our ways. I also have repeatedly brought up the ECFs to you but you have no reply as to how THEY did not believe...

On phone & can't write 2 much. I agree. What is bothersome is the hypocrisy. I learn from others here,,, no problem if it "fits". And no human is my mentor...

When, where, or how was free will taken away?

We've been through this. God is able to work our health problems for our good, somehow. It may not even be apparent how till years later. God can use any failure for our good... This is because we are children of God and Father will use evil for our good. Also, if you notice, the first...

The N. T. AND JESUS teach us that we are children of God.

Teresa of Avila and Watering the Garden

This is for you and @aspen .... I am NOT fearful of God. Episkopos was posting that it's necessary to fear God. I asked him to post some scripture. Which he did. So, just quick, I looked up the word "fear" in the original language. It stated that it could men FEAR, BEING TERRIFIED OF, or it...

I do believe we're saying the same thing. (as my post no. 341) What did I say that you find false?

When, where, or how was free will taken away?

God did intervene directly with Paul. And others. But this is the exception... and I don't see this happening on a regular basis. If it did, it seems to me there would be no need for the bible.. God would just pick who He wanted to save.

M,,, I just reread my post because I thought you were answering me (but I found no answser). Instead I see that I misquoted what I intended to say: I did NOT mean that Isaiah 64 is speaking about saved persons that are unclean!

More Christian tattoo artists a positive development?

Yes A, it's not so funny. It's pretty horrible what some do to their bodies. There's even worse than this...I just don't even want to post it.
