Wow. That's really weird. Sounds cultish like. And would lead ultimately to despair and anguish seeing that except we are born again there is absolutely no hope of ever keeping God's laws. The harder one works at obedience the more frustrating and despairing the life. Very sad.

Totally agree with this. Sabbath keeping included. Observing Sabbath can never improve or add to what Christ accomplished on calvary. So when someone says they observe Sabbath, why is it you do an about face and tell them they are working their way to heaven when here you correctly say such a...

Excellent explanation, particularly of Hebrews 4.

I disagree. God Himself identified the church even of these last days. This church would a global organisation. They would be abused and persecuted for righteousness sake. Though this church would grow greatly, it would be unpopular with other churches... Even to the point of being called a...

It's a fact that the innate nature and goal of Catholicism is a union of church and state. Which is why several times I have mentioned that Catholicism cannot abide the constitution which separates church and state in line with biblical principles. The two are never to be mixed and God does not...

How can doing something for us be selfish? Sure He gets pleasure from it, just as I get pleasure from buying a burger for a homeless person. But I don't do it for the pleasure. If that were the case I'd eat the burger myself.

Of course. The church vaunted it's own imaginary status as ruler of the world for a long time before the actual state power conceded and legally conferred upon the Pope civil authority. That was the beginning of what the Catholic Church always identified herself as and is today actively working...

Hi brother. Was reading through this thread for the first time to discover there is good news. Answers to prayer before even praying! Glad you and your wife don't have this to care about. I say care rather than fear or worry because I know God is in ultimate control... Yet we still have concerns...

I firmly believe, for several biblical reasons, there are numerous unfallen worlds in God's creation. They do not know the extent of God's love for man. They don't even know what grace and mercy is. They don't know or understand why the Son of God had to leave His royal throne and become a man...

Justinian's Code laid the legal and prophetic foundation for the rise of the Papacy. AD March 533: Justinian's letter to John reads: "Justinian: victor, pius, fortunate, ever Augustus, to John, the most holy Archbishop and patriarch of the noble city of Rome. Paying honor to the Apostolic See...

I understand there may be another thread or four on this topic somewhere, do without going into detail, I would simply suggest you get a real good accurate truthful handle on the character of God before you start accusing Him if behavior befitting tyrants.

Have you ever read the dictionary meaning of the term slander?

May the Lord of mercy bring comfort and peace to our sister, and may she experience at this time the presence and power of our Lord and Savior, in Jesus name. Ps 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

The Catholic Church you belong to was the union of church and state, that institution that had the civil authority granted it by the Emperor Justinian in the 6th century. It was this church that had power to lord it over other Christian congregations and actively persecute heretics using her...

Your straw man pontificating would possibly be highly effective except for one thing. You will not find one example where anyone here suggested that by our "works/obedience/law-keeping etc etc, was a means to being justified. You have constantly accused us of teaching this, told us we aren't...

Facebook have censored a number of articles of Coleman's from my page... Even an article I sent through messenger. The above video I posted has been up for 5 hours so far... Which to be honest surprised me. Coleman himself had been banned from Facebook and severely restricted on you tube...

They are only tedious of you enter into the subject with an incorrect comprehension of God's character. If you already believe that God is capable of torturing people for all eternity and that such a character trait is in harmony with the gospel accounts of Jesus, who is the express image of the...

The 4th Commandment is more appropriately designated as being a part of the law of God, the Ten Commandments. How can you uphold any of the ten commandments by faith, without keeping the letter?

Then on that testimony the Catholic Church could hardly be called one could it.
